Both wins have come on the AW, though twice placed on turf from four runs. Latest success came over 1m4f at Wolverhampton 13 days ago, benefitting from sprint finish. Up in trip again.
Dual purpose performer has three wins from eight Flat runs this year, latest over 2m at Catterick in June. 3lb higher but capable of having his say with first-time cheekpieces introduced.
Tends to save his best for artificial surfaces, returned from more than 500 days off with promising effort at Chelmsford last month, not enjoying great deal of luck at crucial moment. Interesting to see if he can build on that.
Is now on a 20-run winless streak, showing very little on debut for this trainer last month at Pontefract (2m1f, soft). Down in trip and winning form previously has all come on good/good to firm ground.
16/1 classified stakes winner on AW at Newcastle in June, held in both starts since, latest over 2m at that track last month. Could have a say on best form.
There have been some glimmers of promise this year but those have never really been built on and for the most part he looks on the downgrade. Again poor at Haydock last month (1m4f, heavy) and despite tongue tie going on, makes little appeal.
Has done all his winning in Class 6 events, including last month at Leicester over 1m2f on good to soft. No impact in Class 4 here over that trip since, attempts a new trip now and has better chance seemingly.
C&D winner in August, only narrowly denied the follow up next time under 5lb penalty, not as good 19 days ago at Musselburgh but capable of challenging back at this venue.
Won twice in quick succession on the AW in the summer but handicapper appeared to have his measure of late. Best turf effort so far came last time at Musselburgh (1m6f, soft) when close up in fourth of 13 off this mark. Cheekpieces restored here.
Three of five career wins have come over this C&D, most recently landing apprentice contest on good to firm in July. Out of sorts since (including over C&D in August) and has bit to prove at the moment.

Montanna (3/1), Caged Lightning (5/1), So Celebre (5/1), Sheriff Garrett (11/2), Deep Challenger (6/1), Stanarley Pic (15/2), Ingleby Hollow (8/1), Waiting For Richie (8/1), Big Time Dancer (11/1), Mr Globetrotter (14/1), Saved By The Bell (25/1), Midnight Warrior (33/1)
SO CELEBRE has hit the crossbar in two recent AW outings off this mark and, with no worries over the longer trip, is taken to get some reward in this contest back on turf. Sheriff Garrett produced his best turf run last time at Musselburgh and is capable of mounting a challenge here with a repeat effort while Deep Challenger, Waiting For Richie and Big Time Dancer are others likely to throw their hats in the ring.
