Best effort has come over this trip in this grade and off the same mark. Blew the start last time and yard's horses have been going better lately.
Has been placed in some uninspiring maidens. Those efforts still put her in the picture for a race as poor as this and her lack of pace makes the step up to 1m2f sensible.
Showed some promise in a Sandown maiden on debut but that race has been devalued since and two subsequent efforts are more revealing. Makes handicap debut and should improve for that switch.
Last week's Wolverhampton second looks all the better given the yard's current lack of winners. If reproducing that back on turf he would be the one to beat.
Beaten more than 15L when third at Kempton and then only beat two home 11 days ago on handicap debut. Top French rider on board but otherwise hard to warm to her chances.
Better on AW tracks but had the gaps appear at the right time to score at Beverley on penultimate start. Had less luck in running last time and hard to dismiss in current mood.
Set the race up for Broughtons Story at Beverley by setting the pace and creating the gap for the winner to burst through. Meets that rival on worse terms now.
His two best runs have come under this rider including at Chelmsford 11 days ago in first time blinkers. Lacks pace but so do most of these.
14-race maiden who has finished last in his two most recent starts at Chelmsford. AW record does not match his turf achievements and the form of his third here in August has worked out well enough to make him a threat.

Forecasts
Broughtons Story (11/4), King Kevin (3/1), Rock On Dandy (13/2), Dixon (13/2), Kulgri (13/2), My Name Is Jeff (8/1), Fortia (12/1), Sonnet Rose (18/1), Starboard Watch (25/1), Ripper Street (33/1)
If Ripper Street's effort here in August is a more reliable indicator than his last two AW starts he would take some beating. King Kevin and Starboard Watch have had plenty of chances but still cannot be dismissed in a race this bad. Broughtons Story beat Kulgri at Beverley and is weighted to confirm the form if the gaps open up for him as they did then. DIXON is heading the right way and his current form looks stronger than his rivals. His stable have gone a while without a winner but he is the only one in this with a promising profile.
- Dixon
- Broughtons Story
