C&D winner two years ago and sparing campaigned since. Decent effort last time after a four month break and the winner landed a big handicap at Ascot on Saturday.
Landed a touch when sent to Laytown last month for a conditions event. If that can be taken as a reliable indicator that he is back to his best then he is well treated here. Jockey booking (3-8 for yard) looks positive.
Has improved with each run and has little to find on his latest run at Newmarket. That was his first outing in eight months and easy to see him being involved.
Yarmouth winner who has gone well of this mark on last two starts. Acts on artificial surface and interesting with rider 3-9 for the yard on AW tracks.
Last win came over C&D almost two years ago off 15lb higher when with Richard Hannon. Work to do on current form.
Opened account at Lingfield a year ago and has faced some stiff tasks since sent handicapping this term. This looks more his level and handicapper has given him a chance.
Arrives in great shape but up in grade and a further rise in the weights will test him. Should give another good account but others look better treated.
Significantly better on AW tracks and well weighted on his Wolverhampton success (runner-up scored on next two starts) and his defeat of the useful Tricorn over C&D in February. Poor on turf since those victories but definitely one to consider.
Picked up two small races in lower grade at Epsom during the summer but not as good off this mark in a more competitive race next time.
Winner of two minor races here earlier in the year and has been struggling back on turf recently. Should give a better account back on this surface but yet to prove he is up to this level.
Winner of two Class 6 races at Yarmouth and Chelmsford this summer. Lost nothing in defeat in what developed into a sprint in this grade last time. Goes well for this rider and has a decent draw.
2-5 around here and now tackles 7f for the first time. Current mark and poor draw are negatives but yard are 4-7 in past fortnight.

Forecasts
Noble Star (3/1), Multicultural (7/2), Monteverdi (9/2), Marylebone (5/1), Spinnaka (7/1), Sheikspear (8/1), Tai Sing Yeh (8/1), Dark Destroyer (14/1), Cainhoe Star (16/1), Mansfield (20/1), Papou Tony (28/1), Dourado (33/1), Showmethewayavrilo (33/1), Steal The Scene (80/1)
A case can be made out for many of these with James Fanshawe's Noble Star sure to be well supported given his profile and scope for improvement. However, he will ensure a decent price for his rivals and DARK DESTROYER takes the eye on the balance of his AW form. A 2-2 record on this surface, with those races working out exceptionally well, make him an attractive proposition given we should get generous odds following his recent efforts on turf. Cainhoe Star, Multicultural, Monteverdi and Marylebone all have strong claims in a tough race to call.
