0/6 away from India despite his fantastic record in his home country, having shown little in handicaps including at Ffos Las last time out when beaten 28L into third.
Something clearly amiss when pulled up in Listed company last time out, but shaped as if this trip and the first time blinkers should suit in the style of his debut victory, and he should go close if not showing any ill-effects from last time.
First win on the Flat since September 2015 last time out and goes up 4lb here. More needed in a first time hood, which is an interesting addition.
Good effort in a classified stakes at Doncaster last time out having won on debut at a huge price. Handicap debut here and this mark looks reasonable based on everything she's shown so far.
C&D winner back when in his best form but has it all to do here based on his recent form, and having not been given much help by the handicapper.
On a very attractive mark on the basis of his very best form. Not at that level recently, but ran well in defeat at Goodwood last time and should be capable of going close here.
C&D winning hat-trick seeker who won only narrowly last time out and is raised another 4lb by the handicapper. In his best form for years but yet more required here.
Lightly-raced type who has demonstrated ability across his four starts so far but needs a marked improvement on the solid level of form he has shown so far.
Only victory to date came over a very similar trip to this. Less encouraging form since off a higher mark and still is tough to recommend down just 1lb.
Forecasts
Solar Cross (7/2), Lawless Secret (7/2), Zamfir (9/2), Rising (15/2), Zambeasy (8/1), Zamperini (10/1), Take Two (12/1), Desert God (12/1), Giveaway Glance (25/1)
A relatively open-looking affair, where LAWLESS SECRET appeals most. This filly is unexposed and ran well off level weights at Doncaster last time out following a maiden victory on debut. She makes her handicap debut here and looks on a reasonable enough mark to expect a big run from Simon Crisford's charge. There are just a few too many doubts about Zamfir after pulling up last time for him to be the selection but he is clearly very talented, while hat-trick seeker Take Two has won over C&D and is another to consider.
- Lawless Secret
- Zamfir
- Take Two
