Won a Pontefract novices' contest (5f, soft) in July but held from 2lb higher in a handicap last time and looks up against it on these terms.
Consistent performer who scored over 7½f (good to soft) at Lingfield in August and ran to a similar level over 1m last time. Drops back in trip today and has to prove he has the pace for this, but could come into it late on. Interesting.
Made a significant improvement on his debut run when beaten just ½L at Pontefract (6f, heavy) last time. Going the right way, unexposed and could go very well at a price.
All three runs so far have been over the minimum trip, so steps up today with blinkers also added. Trainer won this two years ago, but this candidate will need significant improvement to follow suit.
Best effort so far was on debut, but was not much below that form when getting off the mark last time at Thirsk (7f, good). That form does not look good enough to see him involved today unless he can make good improvement.
Reeled off a hat-trick over 6f/7f in the summer before a hike in the weights saw her try Group 2 company (beaten 5L) at Doncaster last time. That was an excellent run in the context of this race and she looks to have strong claims.
Has enjoyed a really good season at his level and comes here seeking a hat-trick after back-to-back wins at Beverley over 5f. Handicapper's reassessment with a 7lb rise still gives him a fair bit to find on these terms.
Won a Bath novices' auction contest (5f, firm) in July, but unable to handle some very tough assignments since. Again, this looks tough enough on what we have seen of him and he is likely to be found wanting.
Made rapid strides from a modest debut to spring a 25-1 surprise at Carlisle (6f, good to soft) last time. Runner-up has seen won a handicap with authority from a mark of 71, so this unexposed gelding could represent value for big price players.
Brighton novices' auction win (6f, good to firm) on his second start was his best run so far, but not up to that level in handicaps of late and looks likely to come up short again at these weights.
Improved on his Salisbury debut form at Ascot (6f, soft) last time. Will need to maintain or increase his rate of progress to break his duck in a race like this and although trainer won this last year she had stronger ammunition to work with.
Took a Windsor novices' event (6f, good) in May and has performed with credit in some Class 2 handicaps at 6f-7f since then. More favourably treated than some at these weights and could be a leading player.
Has put together a largely consistent CV this year, winning three All Weather handicaps over this trip. However, her turf form leaves a bit to be desired and her chances look much reduced here compared to if this were run at Chelmsford.
Sole success came over 5f on firm ground at Bath in July from a mark of 68. Appeared to see out 6f well enough on only try, but her form still looks some way short of what will be required to win this.
Improving filly who came good last time, winning by 3L in a 6f Windsor maiden, when conditions were said to be slower than the official good to firm. Lots more needed here, but you couldn't say that she won't step up.
Won two of her first three starts on soft ground at Doncaster (5f) and then Nottingham (6f) and has maintained that level in a couple of handicaps since. More needed to win, but has an each-way squeak.
Scored over this trip at Leicester (good) in a novices' auction event in August. Well held in both Listed and Group company since. This is more realistic, though will still need improvement to get involved.
Won her first two starts over 6f (soft) at Hamilton and then 7f (good to firm) at Carlisle, but has been unable to cope with the handicapper's assessment of her since and this is not a race you would want to come into with a bit to prove.
Has been steadily improving in four starts and won at Redcar (7f, good to firm) last time in a fillies' novices' auction contest. That form looks reasonably solid and she is not too badly treated at these weights if she can raise the bar again.
Beaten 18L when last of 11 on her Lingfield debut (7½f, good to soft) last month. Now drops in trip and might find things happening far too quickly in what is a huge ask on her second start.
Her best effort so far was when scoring at Wolverhampton (6f, AW) two starts ago in a Class 6 handicap. Well beaten back there last time when upped in grade and that form looks well short of what will be needed here.
Yet to get competitive in three outings over 5f-6f, including over C&D in May. Looks to have to much on her plate at these weights and others are preferred.
0-7 so far although went very close when beaten just a head in a 6f Newcastle handicap last time out from a mark of 68. Could run to her ability and still be chasing quite a few of these home.
Has put up two similar efforts so far over 6f on the July Course (soft) and more recently at Chelmsford (AW), when making the frame. A vast improvement on that is needed to figure in this field.
Making marginal gains with each run so far and finished in the frame, though beaten 2¾L, in a 1m Kempton novices' auction contest last time. Unlikely to have the pace to get competitive on her first try at 6f.
Won novices' auction events at Brighton (5½f, good) and Ripon (5f, good to firm) in the spring and has proved herself very competitive at Class 2 level since. This trip looks just about ideal and she was every chance at the weights.
Stepped up on her debut form on each of her last two starts and is making steady progress. However, probably needs to find upwards of a stone improvement to get competitive in an event such as this.
Produced one of her better efforts so far when winning a Leicester handicap (6f, heavy) last time out at 20-1. However, an inconsistent performer, who looks short of the class of a number of these and should be chasing a few home.

A huge field as usual, but probably not that many of them are genuine contenders. Those that are will probably include Yaafour, Starlight Mystery and SHE BELIEVES and given that the last-named has both the strongest form and is well treated at these weights, she gets the vote. Starlight Mystery might be the one to chase her home. Others with each-way claims at a variety of prices include Se You, Fake News, whose trainer knows what it takes to win this, Elysium Dream and Holy Tiber, while further improvement is entirely possible from Escape The City.
