Good record in this trip/class, but she is yet to win off a mark this high and probably needs a career-best in order to get her head back in front here.
Return to the minimum trip clearly suited him last time out when he wasn't beaten far at Beverley (on soft ground), but he remains 8lb higher than his most recent winning mark and may be looking at placing at best.
C&D winner (on soft ground), which was his most recent victory last October. Not at his best so far this season but a return to this course may help.
Has been winning infrequently enough recently, and with her best performances having come on a sound surface the ground has to be a concern as well.
No win yet this season or for his current stable, but he hasn't been running badly by any means and he remains on a good mark if able to return to something like his best.
Listed-level winner when trained in South Africa but yet to win on turf since moving to Britain and still looks too high in the weights to make him look an appealing option.
Secured a hat-trick earlier in the season and has still been running well in defeat since. Goes on the ground and is slowly working his way back down the handicap with his apprentice rider claiming a useful 5lb off his back.
No win on turf since August 2013, and though he has run some nice races recently (mostly on a sounder surface, though he has won on soft), that losing run has to be concern, with his record on the all-weather not all that much better.
Recent C&D scorer who has run fair races off this mark the last twice. and is often seen to best effect over this trip. Jockey booking a major positive and should be able to close again.
Not in the worst of form compared to some of these, but notable that both his career victories have come at Pontefract on a sound surface; this is a different challenge altogether.
Just the one win on turf, at Haydock back in 2014, but arguably best over 6f and has been running mostly moderate races both on the all-weather and on turf.

CLASSIC PURSUIT won over this C&D recently and returning here with the benefit of Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle makes him look an appealing prospect off only 4lb higher than at the time of that last victory. He is probably at his best when racing over the minimum trip, as he does here, and his two last runs have both been fair enough. Foxy Boy has also been running well in defeat since his last victory and is another for the shortlist, while another C&D scorer, Appleberry, is yet to get off the mark for his current yard but may be able to do so here on ground that should suit.
