Galileo colt, full-brother to Irish Oaks winner Seventh Heaven and half-brother to Group 1 winner Crusade. Performed well in a Group 2 at the Curragh two starts back and form sets a very high standard for the rest to aim at; hard to beat.

Nathaniel colt, cost 55,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to a useful winner over this trip and dam a useful middle distance winner. Yard's newcomers certainly worthy of respect but stiff task on debut.

Dawn Approach gelding, cost 200,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a Listed winner over this trip and half-sister to Grade 2 winner Amira's Prince. Useful pedigree but trainer's newcomers often need the run and yard have been quiet of late.

Dark Angel colt, half-brother to multiple stayers over middle distances and dam a 1,000 Guineas winner. Runner-up at Leicester on second start and didn't really improve at Sandown when sixth of 16. Needs to step up on that form in a big way.

Frankel colt, cost 500,000 gns as a yearling. Related to multiple winners including Group 1 winner Speedy Boarding and dam a Listed winner over a little further than this. Beautifully bred but yard's juveniles often need their debut.

Invincible Spirit colt, cost 120,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a full-sister to a US Grade 1 winner and half-sister to Group 1 winner Brando. Well beaten here on debut when very green. Needs plenty of improvement for the fitting of a first-time hood.

Cape Cross colt, half-brother to a winner over this trip and dam a Listed winner and sister to Listed winner Snoqualmie Boy. Yard's newcomers often in need of the experience but eye-catching jockey booking at least.

Invincible Spirit colt, half-brother to a couple of winners over this trip including at two-years-old. Trainer tends to take his time with his juveniles so others preferred.

Dansili colt, half-brother to Group 2 winner Mustajeeb amongst other winners. Yard capable of readying one but he's the owner's second-string judged on jockey bookings.

Sir Percy colt, cost £88,000 as a yearling. Dam a 7f winner and half-sister to Group 2 winner Stretarez and Group 3 winner Street Shaana. Nice debut over C&D, second of 13, and form looks good with some in behind running well since. Each-way claims.

Raven's Pass colt, cost 30,000 gns as a yearling and half-brother to Group 2 winner Silver Grecian and dam raced just once. Well beaten on debut and gives the impression he'll need more time.

Camacho colt, cost €55,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to three winners including Group 3 winner Pleaseletmewin and dam a half-sister to Group 1 winner Rainbow Peak. Very poor debut over C&D and probably best watched with that effort in mind.

Soldier Hollow colt, cost €52,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to four winners including Group 3 winner Vif Monsieur. Improved from his debut when sixth of 13 at Newcastle but a lot more needed here and likely to struggle.

Verdict

COAT OF ARMS sets a very high standard for a maiden of this class and he's likely to be tough to beat. Bacacarat is an interesting newcomer for the in-form Andrew Balding stable while Thrave was impressive on debut and looks capable of running a place if taking another step forward.
