Hitting the crossbar lately and finds herself on a career-high mark as a result. Has course wins to her name over 6f but this is tougher than the race at Chelmsford last time when runner-up and possible she may be in need of a drop back in trip.
Just one win in 24 starts for this yard and largely struggling since that latest win in May. Handicapper has been slow to release his grip and remains 5lb above her last winning mark; hard to fancy.
Two wins from nine starts but has started to compromise her chance with slow starts as seen at Chelmsford last time and may want a step up in trip to bring her stamina into play.
Gained her first win since debut over a mile at Yarmouth two starts back when staying on well in the closing stages but couldn't back that up in a tougher race at Ascot earlier in the month. Drop back in trip perhaps not in her favour.
Won back-to-back races at Windsor in July but very disappointing at the Goodwood Festival, potentially not handling the course. Given time to recover from that effort but drop back in trip may not be ideal.
Justified favouritism at Kempton last month when winning by 3L but this is tougher on handicap debut and needs to improve on her return to turf. Trainer does well with his fillies and more progression not ruled out off a workable handicap mark.
Maiden winner at Chelmsford last year but has finished unplaced on four starts since, including when a short-priced favourite returned to turf at Leicester two starts back. Looks an awkward ride and may be better given more time.
Two-time winner on the AW but has been out of form in four starts this summer and return to turf possibly not the answer; others are less exposed and arrive with stronger claims.

Local trainer James Tate does well with his fillies and his yard tend to do well at this time of year. With that in mind, FIRST DANCE may be worth chancing in a race with plenty of questions marks against her opponents. Summer Chorus has course form to her name and won't mind a return to fast ground while Sayem was in good form before a disappointing run last time out and she could make her presence felt if she's as effective over this trip.
