Gained the last of his three wins at Goodwood (7f, good) and hasn't been beaten far off higher marks since, the last three times on softer ground than maybe ideal. No surprise to see him launch another bold bid.
Scored three times earlier in his career but a sole win on fast ground over 7f at Leicester in July remains his only success from his last 19 starts. Produced another decent effort over that same C&D last time but remains vulnerable.
A winner twice as a juvenile but just hasn't kicked on as hoped this season, never looking like winning in handicaps between 7f and 1m2f. Mark is starting to plummet to interesting levels though and first-time cheekpieces may improve him.
A 7f winner on the AW at Deauville on his final juvenile start and has shaped encouragingly this year in a light campaign, finishing second of four over 1m at Windsor (good to soft)r last time. Still probably has more to offer, respected.
Unraced at two but swooped late to win his debut over 7f at Salisbury (good to firm) in July. Less impressive in a handicap over 1m on good to soft ground next time but worth considering back over 7f here.
Flattered to deceive for Luca Cumani but has shown up well in the main for current yard, winning nicely for the first time over 7f at Goodwood (good) last month. Excuses for modest run at Kempton latest (blew the start) and remains of interest.
Slow start when winning a 7f Lingfield maiden (good to soft) impressively first time out but comfortably held in two subsequent 7f handicaps when again slowly away. Too early to be writing off and has been dropped 2lb.
Displayed a nice turn of foot to win over 7f at Kempton second time out last winter but handicapper has his measure in both handicaps this season over 1m. First run for a new yard who also saddle Human Nature.
Not stood much racing but won a weak maiden on the AW at Newcastle in good style and offered plenty to work on when third in a 1m handicap at Kempton last time. Potential player if tuned up after a lengthy absence.
Much more renowned for AW exploits than turn (six wins vs one) but showed enough when third over 7f at Yarmouth (good to firm) last time out to suggest his current turf mark is workable. Others still preferred.

Hard to rule anything in or out with total conviction but if there is one who could be noticeably ahead of his current mark, it's likely to be ROBIN WEATHERS. Willie Haggas' gelding didn't appear to quite get home over 1m at Sandown on his handicap bow but had earlier overcome greenness to win over this trip at Salisbury on his debut and he could be worth another chance off this mark. Wannabe Friends is a big threat on the form he showed to win at Goodwood on his penultimate start whilst Noble Star is a potential player if fully primed after an eight month lay-off.
