Victorious over this C&D on good-to-soft ground at Chepstow last month but well held off a 10lb higher mark at Ascot (soft) subsequently. Slowly away and never in the race on that occasion and interesting to see how he fares today.
Handicap mark is falling following some modest efforts in 2017 including in a 1m2f handicap at Beverley (good-to-firm) earlier this month. Steps up in trip today.

Successful twice in a seven race career most recently when successful following a disqualification on soft ground over this trip at Newmarket last month. Raised 5lb for that victory and remains open to improvement.
Drop in grade appeared to help when finishing runner-up off this mark at Chester (good) over an extended 1m5f last month. Races off a mark 5lb higher than when winning at Goodwood (1m4f, good-to-firm) in June.

The selection is likely to have the ground to suit today and can see off seasonal debutant Daphne who ended last season in good form while Okool, a winner when last in action a month ago can claim third off his revised mark.
