All three of her wins have come on good ground, though she was beaten just a neck when it was soft at Hamilton (6f) last time, for which she has gone up 2lb. Back up in grade again here but should be on the premises.
Scored on soft ground at Chester (5f) in June when 2lb lower, though inconsistent, as evidenced by her last two runs (beaten 9L by Clon Coulis last time). Has a chance if at her best.
Won a Warwick maiden (1m, good) in May and improved before scoring again at Musselburgh last month (7f, good to firm). Connections clearly feel that she has plenty of speed and this stiff 6f may help her to defy a 3lb rise.
Won with cut in the ground on debut at York (6f) last year. Unable to earn any black type and thrashed by Clon Coulis at Hamilton last month, though back to form with a win at Brighton last time. 6lb penalty makes this look tough.
All three of her wins have come on good to soft/soft ground, while she also showed last time that she can compete from this mark. Cheekpieces on for first time and she scored first-time when tried in both a hood and blinkers. Claims.
Her Chester maiden win was on soft last season and she added to that with a Ripon success two starts ago (6f, good to firm). Beaten under a penalty at York last time, she is up a further 1lb here and needs to find more to win again.
Best on fast ground and yet to win with cut underfoot, so despite the fact that she has two wins to her name at this venue, she might won't find it easy to add a third on the forecast going and after another 2lb rise..

Forecasts
Tirania (5/2), Clon Coulis (11/4), Marie Of Lyon (3/1), Southern Belle (4/1), Kassia (6/1), Hope Solo (15/2), Savannah Slew (8/1), Sandra's Secret (10/1), Megan Lily (16/1)
Kassia has kept significantly better company than this and it would be no surprise to see her prove up to winning here, though preference is for CLON COULIS. David Barron's filly is unexposed and taking decent strides forward with each run. She acts on the ground and although an 8lb rise and a better race will ask more serious questions, she looks worth following for now. Southern Belle and Tirania could both have a say, although Savannah Slew, who has twice won when first tried in other types of headgear, may emerge as the main danger to the selection.
- Clon Coulis
