Extended record to three from three with winning start on turf over 1m2f at Epsom last month, well on top by the end and should handle this longer trip. Likes has further progress to come.

Two wins from five starts this term, latest over 1m2f at Sandown in July, handles some cut in the ground and could improve again for this step up in trip.

Colt out of Nathaniel, won his first two starts this term at up to 1m4f, both with cut in the ground, flopped last time at York over longer trip but that run too bad to be true and might be best forgotten. Remains a decent prospect and respected.

Has two wins from four starts this year, including last time out over 1m4f on good ground at Salisbury when coming away nicely to land the prize. Up 8lb and this is tougher, but still progressing.

AW maiden winner over this trip in July and progressed in two turf runs at Ripon since, latest coming away readily to win by 3½L 15 days ago, gets cheekpieces on now and has to hold claims, though this is tougher.

Verdict

The unbeaten Godolphin colt HIGH END looks the one to be with again in what is a tidy little five-runner contest. He made the transition to turf in good style at Epsom last time and was going strongly at the finish, so this longer trip should be right up his ally. Bigger things surely await for him. None of the remaining quartet are to be written off, with last time out winners Opinionate and Zack Mayo open to doing better again and Intellect not harshly judged on his York flop. Sir Michael Stoute's colt had looked decent previous to that and can make amends surely while Eynhallow knows how to win and could improve tackling this trip.
  1. High End
  2. Intellect
  3. Eynhallow
