Keen but made the perfect start when downing hot-pot Buxted Dream over 7f at Lingfield in May (good to soft). However was far too exuberant back there next time and was unable to show her best. On a recovery mission wearing both hood and tongue tie.
Fast becoming a likeable and consistent filly. Recorded a second career success when a neck too good for Reinforced at Carlisle (7f good to soft) last month, and returns to action for her AW debut from a 3lb higher mark.
Landed a fairly moderate 6f maiden at Pontefract in May (good) on her fourth start, but hasn't disgraced herself stepped up into handicap company off the back of a short break subsequently. Back up in trip, but seems effective on Tapeta.
Races from a mark which is 8lb higher than for her cosy 2¾L defeat of Indigo Princess at Yarmouth in May (7f good to firm). Beaten favourite on her last two starts, so a fraction more is required tonight.
Seven race maiden, but has shown some signs of promise in the earlier stages of her career. She feasibly has some excuses for a couple of her more recent efforts, including trip (extended mile) and ground (soft), and she is falling in the handicap.
13 race maiden who is clearly no great shakes, but she's arguably been a shade unlucky not to score (beaten ½L, a short-head, and a neck in finishing a runner up on three occasions). Steps back to 7f, and rider claims a useful 5lb.
Consistency is her forte, and she thrives at this track. On the premises when fourth to the three time Newcastle winner (and proven stayer) Auspicion over 1m last week. Back for another go and needs respecting.
Runner up to Sandy Shores (beaten 2¾L) in a 1m Windsor fillies handicap latest, and probably appeared as if a drop back to 7f would suit (7f Lingfield maiden winner in August 2016). On an increasingly fair mark for her AW debut.
Nine race maiden who finished strongly and was beaten a short-head by Anna Medici over this trip at Wolverhampton last month. This much stiffer track should suit on AW return, but worrying that she put in a 'stinker' at Redcar latest.
Regular AW winner at Wolverhampton (mainly over 6f), but not since October 2015. Has won on grass at Chester since (June 2016), but largely fallow lately and only fourth to Lady In Question at Carlisle latest; albeit now much better off tonight.

A trappy contest to round off the evening AW action at Newcastle, so any selection could only be a tentative one. Lady In Question has developed into a likeable and consistent filly, but she now switches to the AW seeking to confirm her latest Carlisle form with Bush Beauty (races from a 7lb lower AW mark than on turf). Halinka is a regular bridesmaid, but connections must hope she's capable of being the bride tonight with the excellent Cameron Noble taking off a valuable 5lb. Express Lady blotted her copybook last time (very keen), and has a host of new added 'aids' in order to help her to settle, but whether or not racing under floodlights late at night will suit her remains to be seen. Therefore, some each-way value is sought with THE LACEMAKER. She is probably better than she's shown lately (and has speculative excuses), so with PJ McDonald being an experienced rider at this track, her falling handicap mark of 70 makes a modicum of minor appeal in an open contest.
