Recent C&D winner but well held subsequently. Dropped 2lb as a result but still faces a stern test in giving weight away all round.
Loves this course and very possible she will be ideally suited by the return to a mile. One for the shortlist but does need to brush aside a couple of modest displays.
Last won from a 7lb lower mark on the AW at Lingfield in January. Recently gelded, he has been below par of late and comes here with plenty to prove on these terms.
Very effective around here and confidence boosted by a C&D win last time out. Just 3lb higher and races in the same grade, so another that is favoured by the framing of the race and is certainly worthy of consideration.
Mixed efforts under both codes. Latest starts on the Flat have been below his best and he now has something to prove.
Comfortable winner over C&D last time out and has to be respected despite being 7lb higher. Still, he's won off a higher mark in the past, so makes plenty of appeal with a useful claimer easing the burden by 3lb.
Still a maiden but has several decent placed efforts to his name. Needs to better the performance he posted on his only other previous visit to Brighton though.
Solitary win on turf came over 7f here last June but form has been very patchy since then. Now 11lb lower as a result but needs to prove he isn't simply on a downwards spiral.
Won over 7f here in June but limitations exposed since has yet to convince a mile is her ideal trip. Others more appealing.
Won a similar type of handicap at Yarmouth last time out; but is still out of the weights and as such faces a very tough assignment from a 5lb higher mark.
Decent claims on the pick of his efforts (second at Yarmouth in June reads well) and has dropped hints at a return to form of late. Interesting if supported in the betting, so definitely one to keep tabs on.
Finding life tough so far and the recent switch to handicap company did little to bolster his profile. Probably best watched again this time around too.

WITH APPROVAL has a lot going for him back at his favoured course and is fancied to make a bold bid to shrug off the 3lb rise for a C&D win last time out. Captain Marmalade and Bayston Hill are others that come here with decent claims in this company and could fend off the others to fight it out as best of the rest.
