Top rated on official figures and twice a winner (including at Listed level) since being beaten a neck by Bravery in the Lincoln at Doncaster in April. Faced a tough task in the Group 2 Celebration Mile latest and this looks an ideal opportunity.

2/1
2016 Listed European Free Handicap winner and Jersey Stakes fourth to Ribchester who has appeared below that level in 2017. Well beaten in a competitive Chelmsford handicap latest, but will better appreciate these underfoot ground conditions.

Talented juvenile for Kevin Ryan (Group 3 Railway Stakes third and Listed Rockingham Stakes runner up), but beaten at Hamilton on his seasonal reappearance in May and left that trainer to join this yard. Needs to better his recent Listed stable bow.

Two time winner (both over 7f) from 25 career starts, but faces a difficult task at these weights and in truth hasn't been in the best of form for the majority of the turf season.

Ibn Malik (2/1), Oh This Is Us (9/4), Dream Of Dreams (7/2), Mutawathea (9/2), Summer Icon (16/1)

Verdict

Not the most competitive of Conditions Stakes, therefore this race presents an ideal winning opportunity for the consistent Richard Hannon trained Acclamation colt OH THIS IS US. He is a rock solid performer over 1m, but has also demonstrated his versatility in winning over this specialist distance of 7f and can be expected to be going on strongest of all inside the final furlong. With various question marks against the other four runners, a reproduction of his most recent fourth to Lightning Spear in the Group 2 Celebration Mile at Goodwood in August should prove plenty good enough.
