Glimpses of promise at long odds in two 6f maidens so far without looking like winning. Probably one for handicaps later on.
April foal who only cost €12,000 originally but changed hands for £42,000 more recently. Dam a maiden but came from a good family. Likely to appreciate a little further.
Changed hands for 180,000 guineas as a yearling and, though looking a tad expensive on what he's shown so far in two minor events over 6f and 7f, he is open to progress. Drop in trip worth a try.
Promising debut when fourth over 5f on fast ground at Ascot but didn't improve for a step up in trip at Windsor next time. Worth a look now returned to the minimum distance returning from a break.
Decent debut over 5f at Salisbury earlier in the season but form has 'flatlined' in three subsequent starts, including when highly-tried in a Listed event. May do better on second run after a break.
Unfancied for both starts over 6f on good ground so far and has failed to get competitive each time. Hard to get excited about and will be a better proposition in handicaps.
Has flattered to deceive since a promising debut earlier in the year over 5f at Windsor, finishing a beaten favourite in three of her five subsequent starts. Still, a potential threat if first-time blinkers galvanise her.
March foal. Filly by Mazameer out of a maiden dam. Doesn't catch the eye on paper and probably best watched unless the market suggests otherwise.
A market drifter first time out at Brighton and ran very green, though the penny seemed to drop late on. Sure to come on for that experience and could make her presence felt.
May foal. Filly by Style Vendome, costing €30,000 as a yearling. Dam a 1m winner and is a half-sister to the middle-distance winner, Flexible. Likely to come into her own over further.
Related to numerous winners and has shown up well in all three starts so far, twice finishing second when fancied at Bath (both good to soft). Has to be considered in this company once more.
Took a few runs to come to hand but desperately unlucky to still be sporting a maiden tag, having lost each of her last two starts over 5f on the nod. Seems best with some cut in the ground, major player.

An open-looking maiden in which the fillies Swing Out Sister and Time For Wine probably set the standard. Each look capable of making their presence felt once again but it may pay to give another chance to expensive colt WAFEER who, though hitherto underwhelming, has shaped as though worth a try over this shorter distance. Cardaw Lily looks the most interesting of the remainder.
