Back-to-back winner last year for Denis Hogan, both wins coming in testing conditions. Badly out of form for this yard in five starts so far but given a mid-season break and fallen to a very attractive looking mark.

Impressive debut when runner-up at Windsor but very disappointing in two starts subsequently. Handicapper given her a chance on handicap debut and jockey rides this course well so can't be dismissed.

Off the mark at the tenth attempt last time at Ffos Las in heavy ground. 4lb rise not excessive for the manner of that win and she ought to run well again.

Southwell winner last year for David Evans and form of that race is respectable but she's been hit and miss since. Given a break to recover from those efforts but not run on turf since debut and remains to be seen whether soft ground is her bag.

Won just one of his 12 starts so far and drop in trip not necessarily going to suit here. Still above his winning mark and needs a first-time visor to improve him.

Disappointing on first three starts in maidens but has improved since switching to handicaps and won a maiden handicap at Yarmouth last time out. 6lb rise for that perhaps a little harsh though and may find this a little tougher.

Has run to a similar level on all four of her starts and still gives the impression she's learning on the job. No real improvement at Sandown last time out and probably best watched for now.

Still a maiden after seven starts and disappointing when dropped into Seller company last time at Leicester. Likely to struggle back in handicap company in first-time blinkers.

Still a maiden after eight starts but best effort yet came at Ripon on soft ground. Given some more relief from the handicapper and may improve for first-time blinkers.

Has improved since the switch to handicaps this campaign and her best efforts have come at Yarmouth. Probably wants faster ground than what she will get here and others arrive with stronger claims.

Well beaten on all six of his starts to date and very disappointing last time out on the AW. Likely to need more time and a lower handicap mark if he's to get his head in front.

Still a maiden after nine starts and placed just once when second of 12 at Kempton two starts back. Not in the same form at that same course last time though and efforts on soft ground are uninspiring.

Well beaten at big prices on all three maiden starts. Drops back in trip and has to improve for the first try on soft ground. Trainer does well with his fillies so can't be completely discounted on handicap debut.

Well beaten in three starts in maiden company but much improved on handicap debut over C&D last time out. Soft ground an unknown but she's a player if she handles conditions.

Verdict

VIXEN ran well over C&D last time and she may be able to build on that run if she handles conditions here. Twilight Spirit's best effort came on soft ground and she may improve for the fitting of blinkers. Grecian Divine has been very disappointing since joining this yard but her handicap mark is starting to look very lenient on old form and she's proven in soft conditions.
