Landed a higher grade race over 6f last week despite looking an awkward ride. Stable in form but possibly not one to take a short price about.
Beat two subsequent nursery winners when landing a Catterick claimer. However, that form still leaves him on a difficult mark as underlined when disappointing last time.
Related to a number of useful sprinters but has yet to live up to the billing on the racecourse. More required and ground is a further concern.
Has looked short of a finish in three previous starts but makes her nursery debut in a modest contest. Hard to argue she is well handicapped and she may need further, but worth monitoring in the market.
Yet to make the frame in four starts and has not really shown enough to be worthy of the mark the handicapper has allotted him.
Has only shown a modest level of ability so far. Handicap mark looks high enough for what she has achieved and stable are going through a quiet spell.
Has shown steady improvement, particularly since racing on quicker ground. If conditions remain on the soft side, his chances would appear less realistic.
Well beaten at big prices on each start and she drops considerably in trip for this. Hard to fancy at present.
Has helped force the pace in recent starts but has failed to get home. Drop back to 5f can only help and stable have hit form in the past few days.
Fourth at Ripon on soft ground in July and that effort would put her in with a realistic chance. Had a stiff task at the weights in a seller last time but this looks easier and she has a nice draw too. Rare runner here for the yard.
Has claims on his C&D fourth on similar ground in June which represents his best effort. Visor now tried after a poor effort on the AW last time.
Caught the eye last time when finishing well and denied a clear run. Drops a further 2lb for this and stable are a respectable 15-53 around here.
Ground turned against him at Lingfield on his latest start when conditions were softer than described and he found himself on the wrong side of the track. Remains on a viable mark but pedigree suggests he needs a faster surface.
Plating class juvenile who was beaten 29L last time. Hard to envisage a turnaround with the stable having gone more than eight weeks without a winner.
Plating class maiden who has tried a variety of trips without ever promising to win. Drops to 5f here and blinkers tried by trainer with a 1-73 record with first time headgear.
Forecasts
Global Exceed (9/4), Hope And Glory (7/2), Red For Danger (8/1), Cent Flying (8/1), Zapateado (12/1), Rio Santos (16/1), Owen The Law (20/1), Cove Beach (20/1), Madame Jo Jo (20/1), Just For The Craic (20/1), Lady Lintera (25/1), Alaskan Star (25/1), Roses In June (25/1), Hollie's Dream (33/1), Cranworth Phoenix (33/1)
This looks a difficult race with Global Exceed bringing recent winning form into this for an in form yard, but having looked a tricky ride in the process. A 6lb penalty makes him less attractive and preference is for HOPE AND GLORY who has shown speed from the gate and who will be suited by the drop back to 5f. Lady Lintera will appreciate the conditions and could go close at decent odds whilst Red For Danger is another to consider.
