Losing run is starting to grow again although he has on occasions proved capable at this level. Back from a break here and now down to his last winning mark but probably needs to settle a little better.
C&D winner who last struck on the AW at Wolverhampton off a mark of 60 and looks as though he may be a better horse on that sort of surface these days. Well held on turf at Haydock last time going with little zest or fluency.
Failed to really ignite this year and looks to be ticking over rather than returning to form although has won over C&D in the past. Slipped down to a mark 1lb lower than his last winning mark and not totally out of this.
Often shows some of his better form around here and won over this trip here in June off a 2lb higher mark. Looks to have gone off the boil since then although a return here may well spark a revival especially with some give in the ground.
Generally an unreliable type although he has fared a lot better of late winning at Thirsk recently and then running with similar credit last time out at Hamilton over 6f. Has won over C&D and should take a hand while he's in good form.
A winner on the AW at Southwell last time out on her first try on the surface she reverts to turf here having previously won over this C&D. She's actually run well in better handicaps than this and is of interest here.
Starting to look well handicapped now and ran better than for quite some while at Navan last time out despite only finishing mid-pack. She showed good speed there over a trip further than today and this 5f should suit. Watch in the market.
Can be excused her comeback run at Thirsk in August but remains a maiden having failed to come on for that run at Hamilton on heavy ground. Mark continues to fall but 5f looks a trip that is too sharp for her.
Running just at a modest level so far this year with a first-time hood now replacing the usual cheekpieces. Wasn't seen to best effect last time but can hardly have said to have been unlucky and best watched here.
Very much shaped as if needing the run last time out over a mile at Redcar coming back from a break of over a year. Mark falls to basement levels but this trip looks far too sharp for him.
Had started to look a lost cause over the winter but looked rejuvenated last time when well backed in a Brighton selling handicap over 6f. She looked to show plenty of pace there and it may well be that sprinting is more her game.
Really has shown very little that you could hang your hat on in all her runs this year and the blinkers would need to work miracles.

Forecasts
Miss Uppity (7/2), Mitchum (9/2), Whipphound (11/2), Nora Batt (15/2), Camanche Grey (15/2), Lydiate Lady (9/1), Compton River (9/1), Eternalist (10/1), Excellent World (11/1), Lackaday (12/1), Cruise Tothelimit (16/1), Coiste Bodhar (25/1), Oddsocks (100/1), Excellent Addition (150/1)
Quite a few of these actually look interesting fir the grade with LYDIATE LADY given the overall vote having performed well last time out and having shown that she can hold her own in a better grade. Whipphound is in good form although there must be a question mark about how long he holds his form for. Nora Batt is becoming well handicapped and needs watching in the market with Miss Uppity seemingly having found her niche as a sprinter and capable of going well here back over 5f.
- Lydiate Lady
- Miss Uppity
- Nora Batt
