Winner of this contest year but not been in that sort of form this campaign. Placed in a Listed contest last time out on soft ground but that level of form not likely to get him competitive here and faces a tough task to defend his crown.
C&D Group 2 winner here last time out, beating subsequent Nunthorpe winner Marsha by a short head. Soft ground probably not ideal but in the form of his life at present and has solid each-way claims.
Dual Group 3 winner who outran his huge odds of 50/1 last time in the Nunthorpe at York under a smart ride for today's jockey but was no match for the front pair. Place claims on that form and versatile from a ground perspective.
Ran well in Prix De L'Abbaye last year and well suited to some cut in the ground but has been out of form in recent times contesting handicaps and looks out of his depth in current mood.
Enjoys slower ground and won a Group 2 in his pomp but well beaten in a Group 2 here last time out and yet to get his head in front for this yard. Needs to be back to his very best if he's to land a blow here and others looks more likely winners.
Dual Group 1 winner who has been below form in recent starts. Missed the break and they went no gallop in the Darley July Cup at Newmarket and very disappointing in France last time. Shapes like he wants a step up but has the best form in the race.
Both his wins have come with plenty of cut in the ground but struggled when upped to Listed class last time. Less exposed than plenty of these but this is tougher again.
Maiden winner at Windsor last year before landing a Group 2 in France and has been running well in Group company this campaign without threatening the judge. Needs a step forward to take this but will appreciate conditions more than some in here.
Soft ground maiden winner at Naas earlier in the season but not won since and seemingly in here on pacemaking duties.
Listed winner at Tipperary last week but needs to have learnt plenty in a relatively short space of time to land this contest and likely to struggle.
Didn't need to improve to land a maiden two starts back but well beaten in Listed company last time and this is even tougher.

Caravaggio (9/10), Caspian Prince (5/1), Cotai Glory (13/2), Son Of Rest (9/1), Ardhoomey (10/1), Gorane (14/1), Tis Marvellous (16/1), Hit The Bid (20/1), Duke Of Firenze (25/1), Alphabet (50/1), Spirit Quartz (50/1), Pious Alexander (66/1)
CASPIAN PRINCE is in excellent form currently and he may be worth siding with in his bid to land back-to-back course and distance Group 2 contests. Caravaggio brings the best form into the race but he looks more effective over further and could find this too sharp. Cotai Glory ran well last time out and has a useful turn of foot and he can prove best of the rest.
