Pick of his efforts came over 6f at York in July in five-runner novice contest, has some ability clearly but finished last of seven in Newmarket nursery over this trip a fortnight ago.

Winner at Ayr (6f, soft) in June, well held last month at Beverley on handicap bow (7½f, good), beaten close to 10L. Drops 2lb now, can threaten the place money.

Backwards step at York last time over this trip, but had previously shown a deal of promise in two maidens. Handicap debut and can be given a chance.

Filly on the up since racing over 7f, winning previous two at Musselburgh. Overcame trouble in running to score nine days ago but handicapper has come in with a 9lb hike for that. Dangerous to assume that will halt her.

Upped to 7f on fourth start last month at Ayr and ran an improved race to be 2¾L third of ten. That gives her a solid footing for this handicap debut from what appears a very fair mark.

Going the right way, fair third on handicap bow last time in 7f Musselburgh nursery, up 1lb for that run but could have more to give on fifth start.

Fifth of seven in a nursery at Newmarket late last month (7f, good to form) but only beaten 2L coming from off the pace. Gets 2lb back for that effort and merits some thought in this field.

Winner of two sellers already, latest beating sole rival by a neck at Catterick over 7f on good ground 22 days ago. One of four for the trainer in this line-up.

Purchased by current connections for £130,000 and bred to be decent, she's rather gone backwards in three maidens up until now. Not crossed off, makes handicap bow here amongst trio of Fahey-trained stablemates.

Passed up a decent chance last month at Beverley (7½f, good) when close third having gone down in a photo previously at Nottingham. Up 6lb this time, which makes breakthrough that bit tougher to attain.

Last of 10 at Musselburgh in nursery bow nine days ago, beaten 27L. Efforts previously not inspiring either and likely facing arduous task once again.

Has missed the break twice in four starts, attempted to make all in other two. Latest effort at Ripon (1m, good) was best to date when 3¼L fourth of five at the line. Previously had come home behind all 29 rivals in three runs. Handicap bow now.

Evidence of four runs so far suggest this will be tough, beaten 12L over this trip on handicap bow at Leicester last month in eighth of nine.

Verdict

A wide open nursery with Richard Fahey responsible for four of the 15 set to run, of those Faradays Spark has twice won in selling company already while better days are surely ahead for Zoffinia but it might pay to side EL CHAPO in this. Fifth of seven in his nursery bow at Newmarket last time, he wasn't beaten very far, attempting to come from off the pace. He's been given relief by the assessor for that and could be dangerous if ridden more prominently now. The hat-trick seeking Kikini Bamalaam isn't overruled hastily, despite a 9lb hike for her latest Musselburgh win while there may be more to come from Wolverhampton winner The Throstles and Mr Carbonator.
