Veteran who is a winner of nine races in an 88 race career. Last tasted success in a 1m6f claimer at Wolverhampton in January, and on that score should find a few others stronger.
Ten race maiden who has bits and pieces of placed form on the Polytrack at Lingfield (1m4f maiden, 2m handicap), but was well held on his latest start at Kempton in June.
24 race maiden (Flat and jumps) who ran his best race on the level at Ripon in August 2016 when a head runner up to La Fritillaire (2m good). Moderate since and back from a spell over hurdles.
Shown little obvious signs of ability thus far in bumpers or on the turf (Flat). Finished last of seven on handicap debut at Musselburgh recently, and dropped 5lb is upped in trip wearing first time cheek-pieces.
Proficient over hurdles and on the Flat, last winning a 2m3f handicap hurdle at Doncaster by 13L in March. Placed in two of his last three Flat starts over staying trips, but 0-9 on the AW.
A two time winner, including on Tapeta at Wolverhampton in March 2016 who just failed by a short-head to catch Woofie at Chelmsford (2m) three starts back. Possibilities from this mark at best.
Three time hurdle winner (126 rated) with an eye catching jockey booking. Hasn't shown much ability on the Flat in five attempts, but was a runner up at Musselburgh in July (1m4f) and interesting on AW bow if the market speaks.
Dual course scorer during 2016 (including over C&D) who is only 2lb above his last winning mark. Beat all bar the well handicapped Banff here on Ladies Day in July and always respected at this track in such events.
No stranger to Newcastle last winter, but found winning difficult and was often spotted making all too late headway. His record of 1 from 17 on the AW isn't overly strong, but his mark is falling, and he was a runner up at Ripon latest.
14 race maiden who has shown little in three starts for this stable since arriving from Warren Greatrex off a near two year absence.
Built upon some minor promise over 1m2f here in early August when bolting up by 11L over this trip on the Fibresand at Southwell latterly. Up 12lb, but relatively unexposed in handicaps and appears to have found her optimum trip.
Six race maiden who was a runner up to Clenymistra on handicap debut at Redcar in May (1m2f), but hasn't fulfilled that promise since and tries this extended trip for the first time.
Four race maiden who has shown no worthwhile form earning a basement mark of just 38. Tongue tied for the first time on her first attempt beyond 1m2f.

A low grade stayers handicap featuring a host of Newcastle regulars including Byronegetonefree and Jan Smuts. The booking of Paul Hanagan catches the eye aboard TRADITIONAL DANCER, and this three time winning hurdler promises to win races from a mark of just 52. He looks worth trying on the All-Weather with his trainer regularly amongst the winners in these kind of races. An obvious danger would be the improving youngster Shine Baby Shine. She bolted up on her first try at this trip at Southwell last month and a 12lb rise wouldn't be a major concern against these kind of rivals.
