His form from York earlier in the season (runner-up twice) in typically tough sprint handicaps would give him a chance if he could replicate it. Form since then has rather tailed off although this track may well suit him better.
Return to form over this trip at Thirsk last time out came right out of the blue off a 6lb lower mark and very much down in the weights. If in the same sort of form he did show enough and travel well last time out and respected here.
C&D winner who has a tongue tie on for the first time but generally runs his race here. Still 7lb above his last winning mark though and that may make life difficult here.
Never really appears at his best on turf with just one win to his name on this surface and probably better on the AW. Always looks to be keeping a bit fir himself and overall others are preferred here with his career record.
Winner over 6f at Leicester on her second run of the year when wearing a hood for the first time (still didn't look totally straightforward). Has run with credit since in two runs although her attitude is a slight worry and might not be as good as form suggests.
A winner off a 2lb lower mark earlier in the season on soft ground at Thirsk over today's trip in a race that has worked out well. Shaped much better than his final position back at Thirsk last time (left poorly placed) and may outrun his odds.
Shaping better than his form figures would suggest for the second time in a row and didn't get a clear run at Chester last time. Back on a more level playing field he could well be one to watch in the market here.
For a trainer/jockey combination that have a terrific record here especially with their handicappers. Won over C&D on her last outing in 2016 and looked to need the run from a poor draw at Chester last time out but should be sharper here.
Has been on the up this year with a couple of wins in lower grade and ran well over C&D in between his two wins. Has run poorly of late though his last two runs have the look of a horse who has gone off the boil.

Major Pusey (7/2), Magical Dreamer (9/2), Rasheeq (5/1), Elysian Flyer (5/1), Musharrif (6/1), Four Dragons (15/2), Memories Galore (8/1), Venturous (10/1), Top Boy (16/1), Invincible Ridge (18/1), Peachey Carnehan (20/1), Red Stripes (33/1)
A competitive sprint and there are plenty of options with Memories Galore looking to follow-up his Thirsk win off a higher mark with connections having declined the chance to run him under a penalty. Major Pusey is always to be respected here and it’s interesting that he runs with a tongue tie on for the first time. Magical Dreamer will have her supporters but she may not be as good as her form figures suggest and in an open race Invincible Ridge and Elysian Flyer are two that may well run better than the market thinks they will. Overall though a chance is taken with the duo that are always to be respected in handicaps here trainer Tom Dascombe and jockey Richard KIngscote as they team up with FOUR DRAGONS who will be better for his comeback run.
- Four Dragons
- Invincible Ridge
- Memories Galore
