His mark is now looking like one that he really ought to be able to win off and makes him dangerously well handicapped. Ran well enough last time out at Chester to be considered and has the assistance of a top amateur here.
Ended a long losing run last time out taking advantage of a much reduced mark and a gaining a reward for a consistent season. Likely to run his race again here although not an obvious type to follow-up given the 6lb rise for his last win.
Stable has been in good form and that's coincided with this one winning two of his last four starts and showing that he was still in form last time out when second at Nottingham. Likely to go well again in this type of company.
Irish raider with a top-class amateur on board who hasn't really fired since he joined this yard but a look at his previous form in France would have him down as being off a handy mark. Blinkers now go on for the first-time and of interest given connections.
Successful at Ripon in June off a mark of 68 over 1m4f taking advantage of a much reduced mark when well backed. Not been able to repeat that level of form though and his last two runs leave him plenty to find here.
Has been very consistent this year and has three wins to his name already and ran into one who was well handicapped last time out. Gave the impression that he could cope with this mark last time out and might not be finished with winning yet.
Took a step back in the right direction last time out on heavy ground off a reduced mark having not been seen on the Flat for a while. Not certain to build on that run though given his overall record and others look more solid.
Now descends back below his last winning mark but hasn't won for over a year now and usually seen at his best around Beverley. Needs to bounce back from a rare poor effort last time but could probably do with a break now.

Mais Si (10/3), Thorntoun Care (4/1), Diamonds A Dancing (4/1), Take Two (9/2), Modernism (7/1), Spirit Of The Vale (8/1), Manny Owens (10/1), Marmion (28/1), King Of The Celts (28/1)
This is better quality than the normal amateur rider’s races and it should prove to be a competitive affair. Modernism has to be respected with Simon Walker taking the ride but he does take some knowing despite the reduced mark and there are few in better form here. Mais Si is a fascinating contender from a top Irish yard with Jamie Codd booked who is starting to look well handicapped and he along with Take Two and Diamonds A Dancing give this field some depth. THORNTOUN CARE comes from a stable having a fine season and he looked slightly unlucky at Carlisle last time (poorly placed) and he’s given a chance to gain his fourth win of the season here.
