Still a maiden after 10 starts, but reappearance third on first start for this trainer was encouraging. Runs off the same mark and should be in the firing line again.
Maiden for Richard Hannon and second start for this stable saw him finish a creditable third of 10 over 6f at Yarmouth. Drop back in trip is a slight concern.
Registered her second win of the campaign when successful over 5f at Chepstow last time. Up 4lb and has yet to win on quick ground, so she may be vulnerable.
Won on the Lingfield AW in February, but has been operating mainly on turf, without success, since. Handicap mark is falling and she could have a say in an ordinary contest.
Running well of late and won a 7f handicap at this track two starts ago before finishing third of 12 over 5f at Chepstow off this mark. This trip on quick ground might find her out, but she is in form and a more likely winner than most.
Several moderate efforts preceded her surprise victory in a 6f Wolverhampton handicap in June. Ran well over this trip at Bath next time and although well held on latest start, she ticks a few boxes.
Displayed promise in maidens, but efforts in handicap company have been disappointing. She is 8lb lower than her initial mark, but needs to find extra if she is to figure.
Has yet to hit the frame in eight attempts in maiden and handicap company. Not of any obvious interest, but interesting jockey booking for a shrewd stable.
Four of his six starts have been at this track, but his form is moderate and he is 8lb lower than for his handicap debut two starts ago. The visor he wore last time is retained and he needs to take a big step forward.
Forecasts
Her Terms (11/4), Whiteley (3/1), Tawaafoq (9/2), Iron Lady (7/1), Mercers (8/1), Everkyllachy (10/1), Lambrini Legacy (12/1), Cherry Leyf (25/1), General Gerrard (40/1)
Any market support for the so-far disappointing Cherry Leyf would be interesting, while Iron Lady has proved her effectivness at this trip and will not mind the ground. Top weight Her Terms is in good hands and has improvement in her, but WHITELEY is the in-form horse of the contest and, despite slight doubts about the trip on quick ground, she looks the most likely winner. Everkyllachy also enters calculations.
