A winner of his first two starts in minor company he showed his best form at Haydock on his second start and got back on track with a good second in a 7f nursery last time out. Pushed up 3lb for his last run he should still be competitive off this mark stepping up to a mile.
Has taken a while to find her feet but has plenty of scope and looked to relish the 7f trip last time at Newmarket finding plenty for pressure. Given an 8lb rise for that win she still looks capable of better with an extra furlong to travel here.
Based on her first three runs she had the look of an improver when moved into nurseries although it was a surprise to see her debut over 6f in that sphere (cheekpieces on). Should be suited by the return to further although others may have more scope.
Hardly seen away from Beverley so far which is where his only success came over an extended 7f. Kept to minor company under penalties after that his mark looks a little high and despite shaping well enough last time others are preferred here.
This impossibly name horse makes her handicap debut here with the Yard having just had their first juvenile winner. Shaped with potential on her last start over 7f and should be suited by this test after travelling well last time.
The other handicap debutante in the field with none of her previous starts looking to have got to the bottom of her over 6-7f. Should improve over this mile trip and looks an improver for this stiffer rest although does have to run from out the handicap here.
Forecasts
Veejay (11/8), Noble Manners (7/2), Paramount Love (4/1), Poet's Dawn (15/2), Bibbidibobbidiboo (17/2), Fastalong (25/1)
Quite an intriguing little contest where it’s hard to rule out any of the sextet with the top weight Veejay setting a good standard having finished a good second last time out although his mark has crept up as a consequence. On this occasion it may well be the girls that hold sway and NOBLE MANNERS looks sure to improve on her Newmarket win last time out with the extra distance to suit. The two handicap debutantes are interesting with Bibbidibobbidiboo and Fastalong both looking ideal toes for this sphere and the mile trip likely to really start to getting to the bottom of the latter.
- Noble Manners
- Fastalong
- Veejay
