Former Richard Hannon inmate who came good at the second attempt for this yard when winning over C&D (good to soft) last time. Up 2lb for that, but the front pair were 5L clear, so could be capable of following up.
Remains 4lb higher than when scoring over this trip at Carlisle in May, though went very close from this mark at Chester two starts after. Handicapper has has him since, but now that he is relenting, he should be very competitive.
Scored over this trip at Lingfield (AW) in February and was beaten just 1L over it at Leicester (good to firm) next time. Held in better company both starts since, but back on this mark and in this grade he can make an impact.
1-21 so far, that win coming at Bath (5½f, firm) in June from 5lb lower. Beaten just 1L from this mark at Leicester last time, but yet to prove as effective over this trip in spite of his pedigree.
All three of her wins have been at Kempton over this trip, though she went close on turf at Sandown (1m, good to soft) a couple of starts ago. Not ruled out, but may just have to give best to the handicapper from this mark.
Broke his duck at the 14th attempt at Catterick last time (7f, good) when 33-1. Up 2lb for that pillar to post success and has already run well in this grade earlier in the season, so can make a bold bid to follow up.
Forecasts
Dourado (6/4), Traveller (7/2), Right Action (9/2), Lightoller (8/1), Prazeres (8/1), Dragon Dream (9/1)
A trappy little contest to conclude the day. Prazeres appeared to benefit from the return to 7f at Catterick and should be capable of having a big say from just 2lb higher, while fellow northern raider Right Action is now on the sort of mark from which he can run a big race. Dourado is another up just 2lb for winning last time and can give another good account, though the suggestion is TRAVELLER, who has been used sparingly this year and may benefit from that now that he is dropped back in grade over a trip that suits.
- Traveller
- Dourado
- Prazeres
