Progressive hurdler having his first run on the Flat following a five month absence. Trip looks on the sharp side and run will probably be needed.
Well beaten on three maiden starts, so nothing of any promise to stimulate making a case for the gelding, but a note of the betting is encouraged.
Beaten favourite went sent of at 5/4 at the Galway festival in a 8½f maiden on soft ground and can improve on that run in first-time cheekpieces.
First start on the Flat here off a 130-day layoff, brought about a 47L defeat in Gowran Park maiden hurdle on soft ground over the extended 1m1f.
By little known sire Boswinger, though he was by High Chapparral. Trainer currently trains Lightening Stricks, a winner recently at Listowel.
Unraced mare by Big Bad Bob, who was useful 1m 2yo, smart over 10f at 3-5; good source of classy, tough horses.
50,000gns yearling and some classy sorts in the family, hood applied for his debut when second of 11 at the Galway festival and the headgear stays today.
Interesting unraced son of Casamento, Beresford Stakes & Racing Post Trophy winner as 2yo, 1m 2f Group 3 winning 3yo, first 3yos 2017.
Sir Prancelot gelding cost 8,000 gns. Encouraging second of 11, beaten a neck at Dundalk on second career start, before promising third, beaten 1¾L in Ballinrobe 1m2f maiden.
Strong favourite for 1m2f Curragh maiden last month, just failing to get up, before beaten favourite, again, at Gowran Park, when second of 17. Deserves a change of luck.
Rajsaman filly, cost €2,000 as a yearling. Showed nothing on debut and never a factor on second start here two weeks ago.
Daughter of champion sprinter Fastnet Rock and half-sister to a couple of winners from 1m-2m. Ridden over 2f out, no impression on debut at Gowran Park early June and much of the same here in July last time out.
