Successful over 6f here on soft ground last month but well beaten stepping up to 7f at Ayr (good) last time out and would probably prefer the ground softer than is forecast here.

Unraced daughter of Cityscape cost 20,000gns as a yearling last October. Half-sister to useful stayer Akmal and worth a check in the market on her racecourse debut.

Signs of promise in four outings so far but beaten off a mark of 53 on handicap debut over 6f at Leicester (good-to-soft) last time and has a bit to find upped in trip here.

Unraced daughter of Rip Van Winkle bought cheaply for 2,000gns as a yearling last autumn. Half-sister to useful 1m2f performer Percy Street but probably best watched on debut.

Career best effort when finishing 3L second on her first attempt at this trip at Ripon (good) earlier this month. Attempted to make all on that occasion and one for the shortlist in this contest.

Unraced daughter of Farhh bought for 10,000gns as a yearling last autumn. Half-sister to the prolific Standguard and worth a check in the market on debut.

Caught the eye in finishing 11L fifth over 7f at Salisbury (good) on debut recently. Shaped as if this step up in trip would suit and is one to note on her racecourse debut.

Well beaten when making her debut over an extended 5f at Bath (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Step up in trip should suit on breeding but probably best watched at present.

Forecasts

Double Reflection (6/4), Show Of Force (11/4), Viktoriya Taraban (8/1), So Near So Farhh (8/1), Fusion Central (9/1), Ainne (12/1), Sassie (20/1), Western Dynamisme (50/1)

Verdict

SHOW OF FORCE ran well on her first attempt at this trip at Ripon earlier this month and can register her first victory at the sixth time of asking here. The selection can get the better of previous winner Double Reflection who would probably prefer the ground softer than is forecast and is tackling this trip for the first time today. Debutant Ainne, a half-sister to a useful horse in Akmal is taken to claim third here.
  1. Show Of Force
  2. Double Reflection
  3. Ainne
