Justified favouritism in this race in 2016 but well held on his return to handicaps at Royal Ascot (6f, good-to-firm) back in June. Wears cheekpieces for the first time and races off a mark 5lb higher than for last years success.
Made a winning seasonal debut on his first start since being gelded over 6f at Chelmsford in April. Disappointing in the main since and more needed here.
Running well in valuable contests of late including when 3L fourth of 27 at Ascot (good-to-soft) last time out. Stayed on strongly on that occasion and one for the shortlist off the same mark here.
Successful three times in France during the winter but well beaten on soft ground at Newmarket over this trip on debut for current yard and others make more appeal here.
Four time winner so far including over C&D on good-to-firm ground in a valuable three-year-old handicap in May. Best effort since when fourth at Chelmsford over 1m last time, poorly drawn here and wears blinkers for the first time today.
Successful three times last year but seems in the grip of the handicapper at present and failed to build on a good second at Chelmsford earlier this month when well held at Doncaster four days later.
Newbury maiden winner on good-to-firm ground a year ago and put in his best effort since when finishing a close third at Newmarket over 6f on good ground last month. Tongue tie worn for the first time on that occasion is retained today.
Victorious over 7f at Newmarket (soft) on his penultimate outing but well held in a valuable 1m contest on the AW at Chelmsford subsequently. Would appreciate any overnight rain.
Placed over 7f at Chelmsford in May but well held in two subsequent outings and drawn poorly off a mark 12lb higher than for his latest success.
Admirable veteran and successful at Doncaster (good) over this trip last time out. Races off a 2lb higher mark here though likely to find life tougher with a poor draw today.
Bidding for a treble when finishing third on soft ground over this trip at Sandown last time out. Races off a 3lb higher mark today and now rated 9lb higher than for his latest success at the same course earlier this month.
Contesting Group and Listed contests in the main since winning over 5f in May last year. Beaten 3L into sixth on his handicap debut at Ascot (good-to-soft) last time and more needed from a poor draw here.
Winning for the third time when victorious over C&D on soft ground earlier this month. Had been running well prior to that and is an interesting runner despite a 4lb rise in the weights.
Disappointing since winning at Doncaster (soft) in June prior to finishing runner-up at Thirsk (good) last time out. Races off a 2lb higher mark today and this looks more competitive.
Successful over this trip on the AW at Newcastle in February and put in his best effort since when beaten 3L into third at Newmarket (good-to-soft) last time. Rated 9lb lower than when runner-up in this last year. Drawn poorly here.
Winning for the first time since his two-year-old debut when successful at Sandown (good-to-soft) over this trip last time out. Likely to find this much tougher following a 6lb rise.
Lightly raced three-year-old but put in a couple of solid performances on the AW since making a winning handicap debut over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton in June. Races off an 11lb higher mark and making just his second turf appearance today.
Ran well when finishing a close fourth in a valuable handicap at Ascot (good-to-firm) over this trip in May. Well held the last twice however and others make more appeal with the draw another negative here.
Had just three starts for this yard winning on the second of those at Leicester (7f, good-to-firm) last month. Disappointed on soft ground subsequently and would probably prefer the going quicker than is forecast today.

ULTIMATE AVENUE steps back up to this trip having run well when finishing in the frame in a valuable 6f contest last time. The selection was making his handicap debut on that occasion and can take this valuable handicap at the chief expense of Mjjack who ran well when runner-up in a valuable handicap over this trip last time out. Likely front-runner Mukalal, another who is relatively unexposed is taken to claim third dropping back to 7f here.
