Made a winning debut in June and ran well when finishing a close second at Newmarket (6f, good) subsequently. Winner of that contest finished a close third in a Listed event subsequently and one for the shortlist despite a 6lb rise.

Successful over 5f at Chester (soft) in June and put in her best effort since when finishing a close third over 6f at Ascot (good-to-soft) last time. Races off a 1lb higher mark today.

Disappointing since winning over 7f at Haydock (soft) back in June. Well held over 6f at Haydock (good-to-soft) last time out but back down to her last winning mark as she bids to follow up last years victory in this.

Victorious twice as a two-year-old but off for over a year prior to finishing fourth of five at Yarmouth (1m, good-to-soft) earlier this month. Drops back in trip today.

Made a winning debut at York (good-to-soft) at two but held in two competitive handicaps prior to finishing third of seven at Newmarket (good-to-soft) last time out. Interesting on her return to 6f.

Successful twice in 2017 including over an extended 7f at Chester (good-to-soft) last month. Races off a 6lb higher mark today and drop in trip isn't certain to suit.

Winning for the first time on turf when successful in a heavy ground 6f handicap at Nottingham earlier this month. Turned out quickly when third at Haydock two days later but disappointing since. Interesting runner here.

Victorious three times from 28 starts but held in five starts since finishing 1L second over an extended 7f at Chester (good-to-soft) in June. Others make more appeal dropping in trip today.

Well held since finishing 2L second over 5f on good ground here in June. Races off a mark 7lb lower than when winning on heavy ground over C&D 11 months ago and races from 2lb out of the handicap today.

Forecasts

Clon Coulis (11/10), Marie Of Lyon (11/2), Rutherford (7/1), Megan Lily (9/1), Honeysuckle Lil (10/1), Courier (16/1), Lexington Sky (20/1), Mistime (20/1), Forever A Lady (33/1)

Verdict

CLON COULIS has made a promising start to her career and can follow up her Newmarket second by registering a first handicap success here. The selection had won easily on debut prior to that and may if held up as she was at Newmarket may well have the race run to suit with a couple of these having been ridden positively in recent starts. Marie Of Lyon has won over today's trip as a juvenile but has done all her racing this year over further and can claim second today while Ascot third Megan Lily can fill the same position in this.
  1. Clon Coulis
  2. Marie Of Lyon
  3. Megan Lily
