Placed four times this season most recently on his penultimate outing on soft ground over 6f at Pontefract. Well held in a big field at Ripon last weekend and interesting if bouncing back.
Sole success came on good-to-soft ground over C&D on his penultimate outing. Failed to beat a rival home off this 6lb higher mark at Goodwood (soft) last time and this looks less competitive.
C&D victor on soft ground here in early June and best effort since came when second to Manshood over this C&D last month. Disappointed in a lady riders event over 1m last time and return to 6f should suit.
Career best effort when finishing runner-up over 6f at Goodwood (soft) earlier this month but finished last of ten when favourite at Redcar a week later. Races off a mark 4lb higher than for his only success.
Twice a winner over 6f this season including at Ayr (good-to-soft) last time out. Races off a 4lb higher mark today and has run well at this course in the past.
Started favourite when winning by 4L over this C&D in a maiden contest earlier this month. Similar ground conditions forecast here and an interesting runner on just his second handicap start.
Successful on the AW at Southwell over this trip in April and placed three times since. Best effort on turf this season came when a head second in a six runner contest over C&D a month ago and he races off a 1lb higher mark today.

DARK FOREST shaped well on his return to 6f and can register a first win on turf in this 0-85 event. The selection finished a close second on his return to 6f last time and can get the better of Manshood who was a winner here last month prior to disappointing in a better contest at Goodwood subsequently. C&D winner Dirchill is taken to claim third on his return to handicap company having run out the easy winner of a maiden here last time.
