Falling in the weights and below his last winning mark but does look a rather awkward sort who struggles to put it all in. One to avoid until he shows more signs of life.

Has improved run-to-run while completing a hat-trick of late having won the first of those two races in that spell over C&D. Might be starting to look vulnerable now off a mark of 70 and won't want the ground to dry any further.

Formerly with Richard Hannon and a winner for him at Haydock last year off a 6lb higher mark he's shown very little in four runs for his current yard. Blinkers are given another try but don't appear to have made much difference so far.

Generally makes life hard for himself by starting slowly and having to play catch up with the rest of the field. The losing run now stretches back over two years and he's not a solid proposition here at all.

Last showed her best form when trained in Ireland winning two handicaps on heavy ground off similar marks to today. Not quite found her form for this yard so far although took a small step forward last time with headgear back on.

Certainly weighted well enough if he could find the sort of form that saw him win on his debut as a two-year-old. May have been flattered by finishing in the runner-up slot last time (travelled well) and isn't the easiest to predict.

From a yard that are flying at the moment but showed nothing for them on his initial outing for his new yard at Pontefract. Never travelled in a soft ground mile maiden and was left behind and hopes pinned on his handicap debut here.

Perhaps summed up by a record that reads 0/9 and she's now been tried over plenty of distances and on a variety of ground but hasn't as yet impressed in any of those outings. Needs to learn how to settle before she is of any interest.

Operates from 6lb out of the handicap here and although she looked to run one of her better races last time she would be a surprise winner here given her recent form.

Well beaten in a Redcar seller last time over 1m2f he's 6lb out of the handicap here and it would rate as a surprise to see him win this.

Im Dapper Too (2/1), Archie's Advice (4/1), Duck Egg Blue (13/2), Zihaam (13/2), Savannah Moon (7/1), Quoteline Direct (12/1), Amy Blair (12/1), Warfare (14/1), Glance My Way (20/1), Eastern Dragon (25/1), Indian Giver (40/1), Lukoutoldmakezebak (80/1)

Verdict

One of the weaker races on the card that lacks depth with plenty of these needing to come back to form and not showing much sign of doing so. Amy Blair takes a rare trip away from Hamilton and he would be of interest if he got an easy lead while Quoteline Direct would be interesting if he could repeat his run of last time out. Duck Egg Blue shown that she can win races although she may need more give in the ground and Warfare can often spoil his chance at the start. IM DAPPER TOO has a task that is getting harder and harder but may have just landed on a weak race here in which to shoot for his four-timer.
