Not disgraced on debut when when finishing fourth at Leicester earlier in the month. This is likely to be better ground which may suit this son of Elzaam and he isn't dismissed out of hand.

Sayif colt who cost 16,000gns as a yearling and is relatively well-related, but this yard isn't known for its success with juveniles and he is best watched on debut.

Well-beaten on Goodwood debut last time but that race was won by a very promising individual and he could be much better with the benefit of that run and on this likely faster ground.

Outclassed in the Super Sprint but improved to win easily at Wolverhampton last time (5f, standard), having been sent off odds-on. Extra furlong unlikely to be an issue and she is just as effective on turf.

Has run two solid races in novice events so far. This looks easier but he probably still needs to show at least some improvement, with the step up in trip here likely to be of assistance.

Showed little on debut at Thirsk in July when doing her own chances no good by starting awkwardly. Much more needed even in this relatively weak-looking race.

Forecasts

Hello Girl (1/1), Sing Out Loud (3/1), Wilson (9/2), Havana Heart (13/2), Laytown (7/1), Fortunate Vision (15/2), Dashing Dusty (11/1), Harbour Storm (50/1)

Verdict

This should go to HELLO GIRL. Dean Ivory's filly found the Super Sprint too hot but won well at Wolverhampton last time out and has also shown good form on turf. She seems to be improving, this step up in trip should be fine for him, and she is by far the best prospect in this field. Dashing Dusty can improve for the likely better ground here and is feared most, while Laytown is the most interesting newcomer.
