Essentially a bit disappointing in three maidens here over 7f, holds Group 1 entries in the autumn but would need to winning this to have those ambitions intact.

Big prices and mostly struggling in trio of maidens over this trip, tough ask here and probably heading for handicaps soon enough.

Epaulette colt is a half-brother to 6f/7f winner Haweeya. Makes debut here and watching brief advised unless market vibes are significant.

Cost connections a princely sum, was beaten over 5L here on debut over 6f, should have more to offer and may improve on second start.

$80,000 yearling, Gio Ponti colt, nicely related to some smart US winners, market can steer expectations for debut run.

Out of a high-class Australian sire, didn't show a great deal on debut over 6f at Leopardstown and may be a longer-term project.

Out of Intense Focus, has scope to be decent but not shown much in pair of 6f maidens at Bellewstown and Leopardstown so far, has to improve.

War Front colt out of a Galileo mare, holds a few lofty autumn entries but showed precious little last month on debut over C&D and has work to do now.

Choisir colt, cost €38.000 as a yearling. Plenty of speed in his pedigree and half-brother to Smoothtalkinrascal and La Casa Tarifa. Trainer has a poor record around here though so perhaps best watched.

Well beaten on debut over 5f at Naas in March on soft to heavy ground and off since. Market may guide on this return to the track.

Dream Ahead gelding has plenty speed in pedigree and bears consideration here on debut for yard with near 20% strike rate with 2yos.

Kodiac filly cost 55,000 gns as a yearling, pedigree suggests she'll stay a good deal further than this but not dismissed with yard going well lately.

Acclamation filly unable to beat a rival home over 5f here six days ago on debut, upped in trip now and doesn't make any appeal.

Teofilo filly cost €70,000 but hasn't looked like paying the first instalment back in two run so far, including over C&D 12 days ago, needs to be treated with caution for now.

Style Vendome filly may want a bit further in time. Represents Harrington team on debut and promising start not ruled out.

Sent off 66/1 both starts thus far, latest here over 5f, and never able to threaten. Likely going to have another stiff task on this time up in trip.

Heavy defeat over 5f on debut around here last week, likely will want further than this in time and best watched at the moment.

Forecasts

Bond Street (11/8), Would You Believe (4/1), Kion (8/1), Royal Navy Warship (8/1), Castrogiovanni (10/1), Minnie Haha (12/1), Akua (12/1), Namazee (16/1), Patrick Joseph (33/1), Powersville (50/1), Way Back Home (50/1), Decked (50/1), Prep (50/1), Simmonscourt (50/1), Rockafilly (66/1), Florida's King (66/1), Courtney Crimson (100/1)

Verdict

Bond Street looks destined to shape the market here but it would be brave to take a short price on him at this juncture. His latest effort over 7f around here was a bit of a letdown. He's clearly well thought of at Ballydoyle and should have a race like this in his compass however. More interesting is the newcomer WOULD YOU BELIEVE for Ger Lyons, who is operating a 20% strike rate on his 2yos over the previous 12 months. He's bred to be quick and should have a say in this contest. Kion wasn't disgraced on debut here and should improve while Namazee and Akua are newcomer worth paying attention to.
