In fine fettle during August last year, winning by 3L from a mark of 69 on good to soft ground at Leicester. Better on turf than the AW surface he raced on last week. Showed he was close to adding to his tally at Redcar two weeks ago and a reproduction of that effort might be enough.
Had plenty of use made of her when producing her best run of the campaign behind Gaelic Wizad at Redcar. Closely matched with that rival on these terms and poorly drawn when failing to figure last time. Stable in form.
Took advantage of a good draw and a falling mark to score at Chelmsford last week under this up and coming rider. Yet to make the frame on turf but this will be the first time he has been both fit and competitively weighted.
Won two over C&D last year and a 4lb rise for his recent Redcar success still leaves him 5lb below his last C&D victory. Has to be a contender to follow up in a race as bad as this.
Caught the eye at Doncaster on penultimate start but gave himself too much to do when apprentice ridden last time. Gets stronger handling here and has dropped to a career low mark. Stable (0-25 in past four weeks) fit a first time visor and it would be little surprise if he lifted their fortunes.
Off the track since finishing fourth in a weak Southwell handicap. Likely to need the run with the stable having found winners harder to come by lately.
Stepped up on previous efforts for this yard last time but he still remains a long way below his peak. Rider 3-12 for the yard but otherwise hard to be optimistic.
Without a win in 15 starts and best efforts have come in sellers. Stable do well here, however he has to improve significantly to land this.
Sole win in 32 starts came two seasons ago and he took a backward step last time. Best form has come on faster surfaces.
Yet to win in 21 starts and has looked a short runner in recent starts over 5f. Step up to 6f is likely to expose her frailties once more.

Forecasts
Rose Eclair (10/3), Gaelic Wizard (4/1), Etienne Gerard (4/1), Le Manege Enchante (6/1), Firesnake (8/1), Reflation (12/1), Mighty Bond (14/1), Bingo George (16/1), Excellent World (18/1), George Bailey (20/1), Nefetari (40/1)
Firesnake and Gaelic Wizard are recent winners who remain on viable marks and are likely to be thereabouts given the poor recent form of many in this. Rose Eclair has claims if able to race more prominently than was the case last time. Le Manege Enchante has each-way claims judged on his promising run at Doncaster and he gets the strong handling he needs. ETIENNE GERARD makes most appeal judged on a Redcar second two weeks ago which showed he was finding the form he displayed to win off a higher mark at this stage of 2016. His last run was not the first time he had underperformed on an AW track and he can claim this under his talented young rider.
- Etienne Gerard
- Gaelic Wizard
- Le Manege Enchante
