Won at Chepstow last year off a 10lb higher mark than this but hasn't really been in the best of form this year so far. Looked to take a step back in the right direction last time out and can't be ruled out off this mark.
Now figures well below his last winning mark for a yard that do well with their sprinters and he showed at Redcar last time that he was coming back to form. He finished a respectable third there over 6f and will handle any give in the ground here and must be given a chance.
Finished off last year with consecutive victories over sprint trips on ground with cut in it off lowly marks. Now finds himself just a 1lb above his last winning mark after showing only spasmodic glimpses of form this year and therefore not totally ruled out here.
His mark has plummeted since he last won a race but he seems not to be able to take advantage of the situation. Ran well below form again on his last start and hard to recommend here.
Hasn't really been at her best this year with a tardy start often spoiling or ending her chance. Has only one win to her name but that was nearly a year ago now and recent runs haven't been that encouraging.
Formerly with Roy Brotherton he won this race last year as a 25/1 chance off a mark of 45 that starting a spell where he was in good form and managed to win at Wolverhampton also off a mark of 50. Winless since then he makes his first start today for his current yard having shown very little in his last two outings and hard to know what to expect today.
Had looked as though handicaps would be more her bag after three maiden runs all over a longer trip than she faces here. Too keen and not looking an easy ride on her handicap debut she has shown little in her two subsequent runs the handicapper quickly dropping her to a mark of 53. Not quite a forlorn hope yet but needs to show more to be of interest.
Managed to win on the AW at the start of the year over 6f at Kempton Park off a mark of 52 but has looked regressive on turf at least since then. Ought to be capable off this mark but overall others are further up the pecking order here.
Her win on the AW at Southwell 18 months ago came as a big surprise and five runs since then for this stable mainly on the AW have elicited nothing at all and she can't be recommended here.
A real sprinting veteran who is making his 193rd start here although his form these days is very modest. Often gets well behind and needs a pace collapse to be shown at his best as he often finishes his races off well. Ran better than of late last time out finishing with typical verve and dangerous to discount totally with another headgear combination now tried.
Remains a maiden after eight attempts and the only really solid form that he's shown was a fourth at Salisbury in June over 7f off a mark of 53. Down in the handicap and tried in cheekpieces last time (removed here) he's not really of much interest even in this lowly grade.

This is fairly insipid and uninspiring fare with plenty of these struggling to win off their marks or looking out of form although TANGO SKY did show some promise last time out and features off a mark that he should be competitive off. The top weight Fantasy Justifier is also lurking on a decent mark while Morello may not be quite the forlorn hope her form figures suggest hailing from a yard that do well with this type. Last year’s winner Kaaber returns to defend his crown and did win this out of the blue last year while the veteran Captain Scooby can’t be left out of this after finishing his last race off with some verve.
