Won twice on the Flat when trained in France by Jean Claude Rougier in 2014, but has raced exclusively over jumps since moving to the UK. Off the track since April, he's hard to fancy and there's every likelihood this race will bring him on with the jumps season fast approaching.
Four time hurdles winner (rated 143) who has performed consistently well since returning to the Flat with a ready success at Windsor in May (1m3f+ good). He has demonstrated a willingness for the battle in each of his last two starts over this trip and despite being raised a further 3lb, should run his race.
Bumper and hurdles winner at this track who was switched to the Flat (1m4f heavy) earlier this month and made a winning start in a course maiden; staying on well to down Waterville Dancer by 1¼L. This extra yardage will be right up his street on handicap debut and with a course record of 1,5,1,1 can be feared.
Yet to race on turf, but is a dual AW scorer for James Tate at up to 1m4f. Her form tailed off in the latter months of 2016, and having been off since October 2016 (sold for 25,000 gns in February 2017) is best watched on her stable and turf debut.
Useful hurdler (133 rated), but made it four from eight on the Flat when seeing off Waterville Dancer by 1¾L at Salisbury (1m6f soft) late last month. Raised 5lb, but obvious chance with trainers daughter again booked to ride.
Made all and came clear unchallenged for this rider to take a Lingfield maiden (1m4f soft) on just his third career start last month. That was a major step up on his previous form, but he faces a much tougher task now handicapping and upped in trip.
A typical slow improving Prescott stayer who bounced back from a poor show at Sandown (wore cheek-pieces) when bolting up by 12L in a small field 1m6f Yarmouth handicap (good to soft) last week. Turned out quickly under a penalty before being reassessed and obvious claims. However, he might not have it all his own way up front this afternoon with other front runners in the line up.

Veiled Secret will be all the rage turned out under a penalty for last week's Yarmouth romp. Whilst his chance is a clear and obvious one, he's unlikely to offer much in the way of any value, especially with the fear that he'll be taken on for the lead in this stronger contest. Whilst he could simply prove to be well in front of the handicapper, there is viable opposition against him with fairly reasonable form. The likes of Sternrubin, Catcher On The Go and Mobait are all proven dual purpose winners as is the selection NABHAN who has been rock solid at this track of late.
