Shock winner at Epsom over 6f in June but twice found wanting off a revised mark, most recently at Epsom over 6f (good to firm). Would probably would prefer quicker ground than this and looks vulnerable off top-weight.
A winner over 7f on soft ground for Richard Fahey early last year and has done well over shorter since, winning twice over 6f on the AW earlier in the year. Good effort to finish third at Ascot (6f, good) latest and has a big chance now.
Doncaster maiden winner last summer but struggled when pitched straight into a Group 2 at Glorious Goodwood next time. Looked in need of the run on his return from a 12 month absence over C&D (good to soft) last month and should be straighter now.
Former Ayr Silver Cup winner in 2015 off a much higher mark and, though probably below that level now, he won a Ripon claimer in June and was a good second behind Khelman over 6f (good to soft) at Ayr recently.
Suited by give in the ground, as he proved when winning over 5f last season and at Windsor in May. Decent effort when a runner-up over this trip at Windsor (good to soft) last time but no margin for error off present mark.

Jordan Sport (7/4), Major Pusey (7/4), Miracle of Medinah (10/3), Waqaas (6/1), Reputation (8/1), Tatlisu (9/1)
Waqaas should come on for his recent C&D return and Tatlisu is in decent heart but this race looks at the mercy of proven mud-lover JORDAN SPORT - Jamie Spencer's only ride on the card - who returned to form when third at Ascot last time out. The gelding does stay further than this and there are races to be won with him off his present mark.
