Nine-race maiden and sliding down the weights. Claims on some form but nothing we have seen recently would indicate he is ready to win soon.
Had conditions to suit when disappointing last time and has been given a break since. Drops in the weights as a result but remains 3lb above the mark which brought success at Southwell in November. Has gone well over C&D in the past and has a capable claimer on board, but others still look more likely.
Without a win in more than two years. Has slipped down the weights in 2017 durring a six month period when the yard went without a winner. That barren spell ended on Sunday and it would come as no surprise if he produced a big run.
Scored under this rider at Ffos Las three weeks ago and also has four AW victories to his name. Steps up in trip having appeared not to go this far on his only completed attempt, however the stable were out of form at the time. The way he came home at Ffos Las suggests a mile will be in his range. New mark is not prohibitive and he is one of the leading contenders.
Habitual front-runner who is without a win since 2015. Has been finding little when headed and now drops to a mile on his return from a three month break. Yet to win in eight attempts at this track and trainer 1-60 with his runners here. Handicap mark is looking attractive but he still looks opposable for now.
Showed some promise in a couple of Lingfield maidens during the winter, but has been woeful since. Tailed off last time and blinkers are tried.
Eight-race maiden whose two best efforts have come on this track. Blinkers are tried for the first time in a bid to produce the improvement required to win this.
Looked a difficult ride when scoring at Chepstow in June as he looked far from enthusiastic. Best form has come over shorter and stable are finding winners hard to come by. Rated 18lb lower on AW tracks than on turf.
Landed five races in 2016 and a four time winner here. Has looked well handicapped for some while and continues to disappoint. Tackles a new trip and probably best watched for now.
Has improved on his last couple of starts and has performed well over C&D in the past. Probably has more to find in a better than average race for this grade.
Improved when third in a Lingfield handicap but that form was subsequently let down and he was a beaten favourite here a month ago.
Fifth of six in a Newmarket maiden last time and the handicapper reckons that is worth a 3lb rise in the weights. Faces a stiff task on handicap debut and the switch to polytrack will need to have a dramatic effect.

Anna Medici will be all the rage for this as she bids to complete a hat-trick. Her trainer is adept at building sequences of victories with his younger horses but a 9lb rise in the weights and better opposition make her a less attractive proposition at the likely odds. Freddy With A Y makes each-way appeal off this mark now that his stable are showing signs of a revival, whilst Mutineer appears to be going the right way and the jockey booking looks interesting. MISU PETE got up late to score at Ffos Las under this rider. His revised mark is still below previous winning levels and he could prove more effective over this longer trip given the way he came home three weeks ago.
