Occasionally fails to settle but can see out this trip well when doing so, though he has been a long way from his best since switching to this trainer.
Has only put in one poor run so far this year, and has improved 15lb overall. This trip and ground should be perfect for him, and if able to settle better than he did last time then a massive run could be on the cards.
Raised 10lb for a victory on handicap debut last time out, but won that race very easily indeed and no surprise if she can defy that rise over the same trip for a yard currently in great form.
Primarily a hurdler who is yet to win a race on the level, and his recent record over obstacles does little to encourage enthusiasm for his chances.
Drops in trip here having gotten off the mark at Newcastle last time out on his seasonal reappearance (2m½f, standard). Up 6lb and shorter distance is a slight question mark, but still has claims.
Won at Bath in May but has lost his way somewhat since. Yet to race over this far on the Flat (has gone over 1m5f), but though he'll see it out it seems unlikely to return him to winning ways.
No win since October 2014 when trained in France, and three runs so far in Britain have been mixed. Steps up in trip now with a hood to help him settle, but others hold more convincing claims based on what they've shown.
Second the last twice, once over hurdles and on the Flat at Wolverhampton, but no Flat win since January 2013 (August 2012 on turf), and seems high enough in the weights.
Not in bad form over hurdles recently but not so good on the Flat and is vulnerable to a younger, more improving type in this sphere.
First Flat turf run since August 2016 and only the fourth of his life; never really looked at home in this sphere and not at his best over slightly further than this on the all-weather recently.
Not performing at the same level since his return from a long lay-off, and would likely find this a tall order even on his very best form.
Has put in two of her better efforts the last twice after a lackluster start to her handicap career, but the best run of her life by some distance would be required here in order for her to go close.

It was impossible not to be impressed with QUAY POINT at Nottingham on her handicap debut last time, when she won in the style of a horse who could be capable of overcoming her subsequent (and entirely expected) 10lb rise. Laura Mongon's string are flying at the moment and with more potentially to come from this intriguing prospect, she is taken to make it it 2/2 in handicaps here. Incus has improved massively this year and is another one to consider, ahead of dual-purpose performer Hallingham.
