Still a maiden after six starts and turned over at odds-on over 6f at Ripon (good) last month. Had earlier finished a 6L 12th in the Group 2 Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. Ground could have been against the filly last day.

Dawn Approach filly, cost 70,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to useful sprinter Shamsaya and dam placed in Listed company. Pulled too hard on debut in Newmarket novice stakes, when fourth of six, well beaten.

Unraced daughter of Intense Focus, tough, Gr1-winning 2yo from high-class family, by Giant's Causeway; fair start with early crops.

Decent pedigree, though largely one that suggests at least 7f and more likely further than a mile will be her trip eventually. Weakened markedly on debut in Wetherby extended 5f on soft in June.
