Easy in the market, he was beaten 2L by Star Maker, doing his best work in the closing stages. Will improve for that run and is sure to go very close.

Verdict

Helf looks a nice prospect and was not really pushed on his last appearance in a race over this CD. Very lightly raced, he will run a good race here. ASTUTE BOY was gelded in the winter and shaped like a surefire future winner on his return to the track. Only 2L behind Star Maker, he was doing his best work in the closing stages and with further improvement to come, he can open his account. The Salmon Man was an odds-on loser on this track back in December and he could go well on his return to the venue, while Iballisticvin will not lack support.
