One of four C&D winners in this field he's won twice from five runs this year with the latest one coming on his penultimate start his final run for the Dalgleish yard. Subsequently sold for 30,000 guineas his first run for this yard also came over C&D but that didn't really work out but he remains a horse with potential especially from a yard that do well with their sprinters.
Course winner who is in sparkling form this year with four wins already on the board from just seven runs and now attempting to land the hat-trick after wins at Chepstow and Ffos Las over 5f-6f. Carries a 6lb penalty here but still looks to have a chance having won off higher marks in the past.
Has won over this C&D but not in the same sort of form as some of these this year despite a falling mark. Last two wins came on heavy ground so conditions won't be a problem but his recent record is rather patchy.
Has been highly tried on a couple of occasions in Listed company and found a 6f C&D maiden on soft ground far more her level. She does look to have been handed a rather harsh opening mark in handicaps though and a 5lb drop from her initial mark may not be enough.
A Thirsk 5f winner last year on heavy ground his form this year for the most part has been below that level although he's now slipped back below his last winning mark. Cheekpieces worn for the first time on his last start are retained here but he needs to show more to merit an interest.
Most of his form has come in a lower grade than this and despite wins at Southwell on the AW and at Beverley he would need to show more off a mark that he's yet to win off.
Forecasts
Hee Haw (5/2), Kinglami (11/4), Royal Connoisseur (4/1), Market Choice (11/2), Jacob's Pillow (6/1), Souls In The Wind (12/1)
HEE HAW has joined a yard that has performed well with sprinters this year and he’s better than he showed on his first run for the yard. Kinglami has been in great form his year but may just find this a little too testing under a penalty. None of the others have shown any form this year that would trouble the “Big 2” in this although Royal Connoisseur has shown form that could trouble them in the past.
