Unraced gelded son of Thewayyouare out of a mare who was a winner over 5f as a two-year-old. Probably best watched on debut.
Unraced gelded son of Bahamian Bounty purchased for €20,000 as a yearling last September. Half-brother to a two-year-old winner in Hungary and others make more appeal here.
Belied his 40/1 starting price when finishing 4¾L third of 11 over 6f at Fairyhouse (good) last month. Shaped as if this step up in trip would suit on that occasion and likely to run well again here.
Ran well for a long way when finishing fifth of 13 at The Curragh (good-to-firm) last weekend. Yard already had a two-year-old winner here this week and worth a check in the market today.
Unraced gelded son of Rip Van Winkle. Cost connections €12,000 as a yearling in September last year. Yard can boast a 29% strike-rate (2/7) of late and market support would be interesting here.
Best effort so far came when third of five over 1m at Killarney (good) last time out. Ran to a decent level of form on that occasion but not certain to appreciate this drop back to 7f.
Slowly away when well beaten 11th of 13 at The Curragh (good-to-firm) over this distance last month. More needed if he's to figure in this contest.
Ran well when finishing 1¾L third of eight over 1m at Leopardstown (good) on his racecourse debut last week. Likely to have improved for that experience and one for the shortlist here.
Stepped up markedly on two 5f outings when finishing a close third over 1m at Bellewstown (good) last month. Stable have a 22% strike-rate (2/9) recently and one to note today.
Beaten 6L into sixth when contesting a 7f maiden on debut at Limerick (good) in June. Needs to step up markedly on that if she's to take this contest.
Beaten 16L when making her debut over 7f at Leopardstown (good-to-firm) last month. Slowly away on that occasion and others make more appeal today.
Forecasts
Warm The Voice (2/1), Krispen (11/2), Militry Decoration (6/1), Big Bad Sal (13/2), Howya Harry (8/1), Shifted Strategy (9/1), Break Spring (12/1), Rip Rocks Paddy Ok (16/1), Ten Bears (20/1), Lovely Morning (20/1), Jango Fett (50/1)
WARM THE VOICE ran well when finishing third on debut last week and can get off the mark at the second time of asking in this two-year-old maiden. The selection looked shaped as if there would be more to come on that occasion and can see off his rivals here with Krispen, placed at Fairyhouse on debut taken to finish runner-up in this contest. Big Bad Sal who put in a career best effort when third last time out can get the better of Shifted Strategy in the battle for third.
- Warm The Voice
- Krispen
- Big Bad Sal
