Back to back winner earlier in the season but struggled a little off her revised mark. Likes to front run but little chance of getting an easy lead here. Proven with soft in the going description at least.
Recorded a belated hat-trick at Nottingham in May and very good when allowed to dominate from the front. Disappointing last time out at York and unproven in these conditions but booking of De Sousa suggests a big run may be expected.
Probably best with some cut as she demonstrated when winning at Chester in early June (5f soft), and whilst beaten twice since remains feasibly treated to strike again, especially with a useful claimer taking off 3lb in the saddle. Yard in excellent form.
More exposed than the rest of his rivals but largely maintained his form and ground probably too quick for him last time out at Pontefract. Return to softer conditions likely to suit and yard's runners often primed for this meeting. Trainer and jockey have a 21,43% strike-rate when combining.
Proved she's as good on turf with a win in soft conditions at Ascot last week and did that with a degree of ease. Very interesting runner under a penalty and should get a decent pace to aim at.
Very useful front-runner when he gets an uncontested lead but little chance of that in this contest. Back on track at Kempton last time out but yet to score on turf and hard to imagine soft ground will see him at his best.
Lightly raced and won her maiden at Windsor back in May. Not at her best on two subsequent starts but too early to write off and chance she will do better returned to softer conditions. Yard in good form and won the Group 1 here on Wednesday.
All three of her wins have been over 5f on good to firm, including at Catterick last time when sporting headgear for the first time. 6lb rise for that effort not unfair but needs to prove she can handle conditions here.

Forecasts
Quench Dolly (10/3), Intense Romance (9/2), Fair Cop (11/2), Carlton Frankie (11/2), Major Jumbo (11/2), Evergate (6/1), Poet's Society (13/2), Maakaasib (7/1), Megan Lily (10/1), Super Julius (12/1), Yorkshiredebut (14/1), Fethiye Boy (14/1), Merry Banter (16/1)
A very competitive affair with plenty of pace in the contest but narrow preference is for INTENSE ROMANCE who should receive a nice tow into the race from her rivals and there could be more to come on turf after her win last time out. Fair Cop is another who will enjoy conditions while Poet's Society represents a yard in flying form and they had two winners in these colours here on Wednesday.
- Intense Romance
- Fair Cop
- Poet's Society
