Promised to be competitive in handicaps earlier in the campaign and confirmed that promise when beaten just a head at Lingfield (6f, soft) on his handicap debut last time. Remains on the same mark and should be able to go very close again.
Showed that she handles soft ground when runner-up in a novices' contest at Leicester in May and although she hasn't matched that in two subsequent runs, there was enough in her recent Wolverhampton effort to suggest that this 2lb drop and step up in trip should see her in the picture on her nursery debut.
Well held in all four starts from 5f-6f in maiden and novices' company and now makes her nursery debut from a reasonable mark and with blinkers back on. Market check advised.
Down the field in all three starts in novices' company and now steps into a nursery from what is probably a fair mark. Should be capable of better than we have seen and another for whom a market check is suggested.
Another nursery debutante who has been well held in all three prior runs over 5f-6f. Hard to see him getting competitive from this mark on the evidence of what we have have seen so far.

Forecasts
Brockey Rise (9/4), Lady Alavesa (11/4), Foxrush Take Time (3/1), Mysaan (9/2), Rio Santos (6/1), Sixties Secret (7/1), Lyford (10/1)
A very modest nursery where the market should be a decent guide to expectations, but on what we have seen the tentative selection is LADY ALAVESA, who drops 2lb going into her first such outing and can benefit from the step up in trip. Brockey Rise is respected in opposition, while Mysaan might be another with frame claims in a race that is probably not one to get too heavily involved in.
