One of two runners from this stable here and a winner on debut at Beverley over 5f on quick ground making up a lot of ground in the process but having a hard race in the process. Failed to follow-up at Pontefract over 6f last time out (hung right throughout) but still showed he had plenty of ability and now returns after an absence.

A winner on debut he looked quite smart but it was only a weak race on the AW at Wolverhampton. Gelded after that and back from an eight week break he failed to come close to that debut effort never travelling well before the longer trip became an issue.

One of three runners from this stable and making his debut but only cost 9,000 guineas as a two-year-old. Brother to 7f winner Free Running with the dam being a 6f two-year-old winner.

Looked very green on his debut and looked out of his depth when outpaced and finishing last t Beverley over 5f.

Price rose to €25,000 as a two-year-old but despite only starting at 7/1 on debut he looked very green and finished well held at Beverley.
Far too green to do himself justice on his debut at Wolverhampton over 6f he was always behind and needs more time yet.

On paper his pedigree makes some appeal and his stable do know what they are doing with juveniles but he was very green on his debut and finished well held and finished last.

On pedigree he makes a fair bit of appeal and his first effort at Ayr was a promising one (travelled well and stuck to his task). On that form alone he has a chance here with the two that beat him running some useful races since and the fifth having won next time out. He also holds a Group 1 Gimcrack entry.

Two runs so far have see n her show very little having beaten just one rival home in those two runs.

One of the most experienced in this field she shaped well enough on testing ground at Newbury last time out in a nursery. Travelled well before faltering in the closing stages but she could just have to settle for a place again against some improvers.

Stable have started to click with their juveniles after a very slow start although this one showed very little on her debut at Carlisle over 6f making little impression.

One of just two debutantes here this High Chaparral filly is out of a dam who was a mile winner who stayed 1m4f. Yard are going well with their two-year-olds now and she's worth looking at in the market.

Very much looked as though there would be better to come after her debut at Pontefract (shaped better than final placing; not knocked about) over 6f on good ground. Failed to make any impression however on her next start over 5f getting outpaced and may be worth another go over 6f here.

Stormbringer (11/10), Global Passion (4/1), Miss Mo Brown Bear (9/2), Albert Street (5/1), Havana Star (13/2), Our Kid (12/1), Arctic Treasure (14/1), North Road Revue (14/1), What Do You Think (25/1), Geesala Brave (33/1), Time Exposed (33/1), Saxonroad Boy (40/1), Smugglers Top (66/1), Cavendish Place (100/1), French Silk (200/1)

Verdict

Kevin Ryan holds a particularly strong hand here with the Gimcrack entered STORMBRINGER looking as though he could improve on his Ayr debut with the cheekpieces going on for the first time. Havana Star is the other Ryan runner who returns from a break having been successful on his debut but does need to bounce back from a poor run last time out. Miss Mo Brown Bear may well have missed her chance to win in maiden company but Albert Street and Global Passion are two at likely bigger prices who could get into the frame here.
  1. Stormbringer
  2. Albert Street
  3. Global Passion
