Been highly tried in his time but back at a more reslistic level these days. Up 6lb for winning at Naas but still looks competitive on these terms and is a classy individual that merits plenty of respect. Trainer won this last year.
Battle hardened after a busy month but arrives in good heart and should be capable of delivering a powerful challenge. Needs to up his game a tad though.
Modest form in maidens before breaking her duck at Gowran Park at the start of this month. Showed a good attitude on that occasion and needs more of the same to get one over on the boys on these terms.
Returned with a vengeance this season after a gelding operation and has made good strides to win his last two starts in game and decisive manner. More to do here after being handed an 11lb rise. But certainly going the right way and will be hard to master if he sees out the new trip when stamina becomes an issue near the finish.
Didn't quite see out the mile and a half at Bellewestown latest and needs to conclusively prove himself over the distance. Otherwise respected so worth a check in the betting.
Sound effort in defeat last time reads well in he context of this race; has a bit to find with Hyperdrive but entitled to respect and can go close if he adapts to this track better than his old rival.
Likely to be the lesser fancied of the stable's runners but is an interesting candidate now he is upped in trip to 1m4f for the first time. One to keep tabs on for future reference whatever happens.
Tries an extended mile and half for the first time and possible he'll improve for the extra distance. The betting will be helpful where he is concerned.
Beaten in claiming company last twice and makes very limited appeal in this much stiffer grade.
Was up significantly in trip when improved greatly to win at Killarney a fortnight ago. Wasn't showing any signs of stopping and did enough to suggest this extra distance is well within his compass. Much stiffer level of competition here creates cause for concern though.
4lb out of the weights and over a trip that will stretch her to the limit. Gut feeling is to leave alone from a betting perspective.
5lb wrong at the weights and form figures not good enough to bring her into the equation for a nomination. Best left well alone here.

Forecasts
Hyperdrive (11/4), Pearl Of The West (6/1), Acclamatio (13/2), Less Of That (8/1), Veneer Of Charm (8/1), Eagle Spirit (8/1), Mr Adjudicator (12/1), Slaney Street (12/1), Mystic Traveller (12/1), Thunder Crash (12/1), Make It Hurrah (14/1), Tenth Amendment (25/1), Foxy Lass (33/1)
A tough one to call but Joseph O'Brien's horses are absolutely flying at the moment and with EAGLE SPIRIT typifying the passionate approach handed down through his family connections, the gelding can be fancied to make this a good test for the rest. Hyperdrive is also in great heart and merits serious consideration as the best alternative, while Veneer Of Charm and Slaney Street can scrap it out as the best of the rest.
- Eagle Spirit
- Hyperdrive
- Veneer Of Charm
