Clearly has ability based on his second to Arab Moon at Kempton two starts ago, but signs of temperament at Windsor latest and found little for pressure. On that, looks one to swerve until showing a bit more resolution, and others preferred.
Took advantage of his falling handicap mark to score with a bit in hand latest, and 4lb rise for that entirely fair. Likely to handle the switch to the sand and a follow-up can't be ruled out.
Useful form when winning a Sandown maiden (1m) last year, and this sort of trip ought to suit on breeding, but showed little on reappearance at Yarmouth and tongue-tie now goes on. Too much to take on trust at present.
Handicapped on three runs over a trip too short, as is the modus operandi with this yard, and now takes a sharp hike up in trip. Did much better last time and no surprise if he left his previous form well behind today, with yard having a 20% strike rate first time up in handicaps last year.
Taking too keen a hold in his races and as such has little left in the finish, suspicion is that there's races in him once he learns to do so as he's shown ability in similar contests to this and looks fairly handicapped. Risky, but not totally discounted.
Just the three runs to date and looks more than ready for this step up in trip, looking one-paced when a well beaten favourite at Wolverhampton last time. Yard have a good record first time up in handicaps (16% last year) so needs a market check at least.
Has done a bit better for the move into handicaps, following up a respectable fourth at Kempton with an even better second at Ffos Las, staying on well late. Questionable whether this short home straight will play to her strengths but that aside, is improving and not discounted.
Looked like the handicapper had hold of her but the step up to 10f last time eked out more improvement, and she got up close home. Up in grade and trip here though, so from a 2lb higher mark she's a bit more to prove.

Forecasts
Perla Blanca (3/1), Pioneertown (3/1), Koeman (4/1), Footman (13/2), Chaparrachik (13/2), Oxford Don (12/1), Conkering Hero (12/1), First Quest (16/1), Epsom Secret (20/1)
Both Pioneertown and Oxford Don will be expected to improve plenty for the step into handicap company, and this step up in trip should see both in a better light. But CONKERING HERO was very impressive here two starts ago and with the second upholding the form, may be able to repeat the dose today. Chapparrachik may yet be capable of better too, and shouldn't be discounted.
